To say that Will was glad to see the back of the girl might sound a little harsh but it was the truth- he had felt very uncomfortable in her company as he knew that at one point or other he was going to see her again and it wouldn't be in any good way. Ah the problems of being on the Brotherhood side of things...of course it wouldn't be nearly as bad had she not been the neice of Xavier himself but alas what was he to do? His eyes followed her as she left the cafe before turning to look down at the table top, staring at the cards she had left behind before he picked it up out of interest.
Turning it between his fingers he looked at the simple design taking it in. For some reason he had expected it to be a little more gaudy? For a teen idol she kept a very plain business card. He didn't even notice the arrow until Anna gave a small exclamtion of surprise and as he looked up at her he watched as she dropped the card back onto the table as if it had burned her. "Please tell me you saw that too." Seen what? He looked back at the card in his hand, finally seeing the arrow and in interest turned the card over watching in slight fascination as the image appeared on the back before he flipped it over again. Well, that was certainly interesting... He wondered if perhaps he was missing something.
Turning in his seat slightly he smiled at one of the other occupants of the cafe, "Excuse me," He asked her, "Will you just confirm I'm seeing things and tell me if there is writing on the back of this?" He handed it over to her as she smiled at him and as she looked on the back of it and shook her head. Ah. He thanked her and took it back before turning back to Anna.
"I think the cat is well and truly outta the bag now lassie," He told her as he to dropped the card onto the table before taking up his cup and draining what was left of his tea. He supposed the card was some sort of invention or other only activated by mutants- which meant the lady he had been sitting with for the last half an hour or so was also of the mutant variety. Well, he supposed he ought to start being able to recognise people of his own 'kind' but he was of the opinion that it was absolutely impossible to tell unless she or he had some sort of physical mutation...or if one happened to see them using their power. "I saw it." He confirmed finally before running his hand through his hair.

Anna watched carefully as William examined the card himself and when she saw the writing she breathed in relief. At least she wasn't going crazy. However, she couldn't help but wonder what exactly caused the words to appear. Anna was not used to business cards that seemed to fall right out of the pages of some mystery novel. It was a bit out of her area of expertise. Nonetheless, Anna didn't comment again as she watched William conduct an experiment of his own by asking another customer to hold the card.
When the writing did not appear Anna was not low to catch on to what was going on. She might not be used to the cloak and dagger methods being used, but it did not take a genius to figure out that only some people could activate the card. Seeing as the information it contained was mutant related, she assumed that was the key. This of course all clicked into place as William spoke again. Anna found that although he now knew her little secret, she felt on even footing as she also knew his. She couldn't help but wonder inwardly just what his abilities were.
"Outed by a card. How very embarrassing." Anna said with a sigh. She folded her hands on the table and was surprised to know he was quite calm about the whole matter. The only other person who knew of her ability was her brother, and yet somehow Anna was not bothered by William now knowing. Perhaps because he was a fellow mutant and that at least let Anna know he wasn't going to freak out or go and tell everyone around.
Anna smiled after contemplating everything and went back to her tea with the expression of unflappable calm that she was used to portraying. We a wink and a smirk she spoke again. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

"Outed by a card. How very embarrassing." Still rubbing his fingers through his hair he looked at her as she spoke before giving a small grimace in agreement. "Ach," He grumbled as he finally realised that he had successfully stuck his hair every which way and pulled his hand from his head with an almost embarrassed air- leaving his hair sticking up all over the place but since he wasn't too fussed about that just at the moment he didn't dwell on it- "Highly embarrassing...but at least it wasn't in front of one of them." He jerked his thumb slightly in the direction of the rest of the cafe, 'them' meaning the humans that surrounded them. He might not totally agree with the methods his group used to gain power but he was well aware that humans could be as dangerous as mutants and to get caught up in a riot now was completely out of the question- and there was no way he wanted such a thing to happen today.
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." He turned his gaze back to her just in time to catch the wink she gave him and he couldn't help but smile ever so slightly at it before it turned into a grimace as like any normal man his mind jumped straight to thoughts that were slightly inappropriate compared to what she had actually meant but hey he couldn't help being what he was! He quickly shook those thoughts from his mind and forced himself to think about what she had actually meant. Show his powers? Here? Not a good idea...
"No such a good idea in a place like this," He told her as he leant back in his chair slightly, crossing his legs and forcing his body to relax as he looked across at her. Well, he supposed he could show her here but again he didn't really want to cause a riot...his power wasn't something he could hide all that well as he was pretty sure people would notice if the shadows on the ground moved about or if he sank into said shadows. No, definitely not a good idea.

Anna would be lying if she said she didn't find his mussed hair to be endearing. She restrained herself from fixing it by simply moving her mind to other things. As William gestured to the people around them it was easy to think about just that. Anna had not lived under a rock and was aware that mutants caused all sorts of controversy. Anna herself found it utterly ridiculous that people would be so ignorant, but perhaps she was biased. She often found herself wondering about how different her life would be if she told people about what she really was. Somehow she didn't think it would be as liberating as she thought when she was fired for dishonesty on her resume if not full out hate towards mutants that was not hard to find in any workplace.
At his reaction to her words, Anna had to hold back a bit of laughter. She was well aware the connotations those words often had and found it doubly amusing for those very reasons. She also smiled to let him know she wasn't upset that he couldn't show her at the moment. Anna was quite aware that not all abilities were for public use. She did find herself more curious though. "Alright, but you realize that makes it all the more intriguing?" She said with a sly grin that was more akin to a cat who had finally cornered a mouse that had been evading for far too long. It was a look people often said her brother shared. Anna simply said that apples don't fall far from the manipulative tree.
"I suppose I can still work something here... Give me a moment." She said with a return to a pleasant and serene smile. She snagged the corner of her scarf and pulled it over the corner of the table in deliberate movements that garnered no attention from any people sitting around them. Anna turned her mind to the fabric and smoothed it down with her left hand. As her fingers passed over the cloth, the threads slowly started to shift until the pattern was fully shifting under her touch. Anna let her mind settled into the task easily and found it little effort to rework the material. Such small tasks were nothing after the years of perfecting her abilities. As her hand pulled away the scarf showed a newly embroidered 'A' where there had once been nothing. Anna admired her handiwork momentarily and looked back up. The warmth she associated with using her ability caused her smile to increase slightly.

"Alright, but you realize that makes it all the more intriguing?"
Will couldn't help but return her smirk at her comment. He was used to other mutants being curious about his power as most of the ones he had met had never met others like themselves- he himself had had to travel to France before meeting another mutant so he could understand her curiosity. However, despite understanding her need to know he was also quite happy to keep her waiting...but that was perhaps just him being a little strange. "well, where would the fun be if I go telling ye all about meself?" He asked her as he settled his elbow on the table top before resting his chin on his fist. He wanted another drink but decided that he could wait a little longer and besides that he could do with something a little stronger than tea- despite it being the middle of the day.
As she pulled her scarf onto the table he watched in fascination as she ran her hand over it. Well now, what was she doing? He might not have met all that many mutants on his travels but he liked to think he had a basic knowledge of the powers that many seemed to get -like telepathy and what have you- but he could honestly say he had never seen someone do things to material. As she pulled her hand away and showed him the item of clothing he noticed the 'A' that was now there. "Impressive," He admired. Yeah, definitely a new one on him but at least it was an interesting one to learn about. "Can you do that with all material?" He asked, thinking back to the reason why they were even here in the cafe. Was this the reason why she had been so interested in his coat? It would certainly explain why they were now sitting here instead of going their separate ways.
Finally he stood up and pulled on his coat before offering her his hand. "Come on," He gave her a grin, "I suppose I'd better repay the favour...although I can only show ye the one." It would be easy enough to demonstrate his darkness manipulation but to show her the nightmares...no, he wouldn't wish that on her and since he wasn't quite sure he had a proper grasp on it yet didn't really want to try it out- he was more likely to give himself the nightmares and he wasn't getting enough sleep as it was.

"Yes, we couldn't have that." Anna was happy to know that he could keep up with her humor. She couldn't say the same about many people. Although, she also didn't feel the need to socialize much outside of work. The only other person she ever talked much to outside of work was her brother, and even then it was hard with him being across the country. Anna wondered whether it was her desire to keep a light mood or the giddy nature of anticipation that kept the smile on her face. Either way, she was in a good mood and not inclined to jet off elsewhere at the moment.
"All fabric like material. Doesn't work on metal or plastic." Anna replied with a shrug. She could work synthetic fibers, but the less actual fabric to it the harder it was to get just right. She also still couldn't do anything with hair which was a shame since it would shave twenty minutes off of her morning routines. However, Anna had always been proud of her abilities and they had helped give her an edge in her line of work. None of the other assistants could sense when a hem was about to tear or could fix anything before anyone noticed it was in need of fixing. It also didn't hurt that Anna never needed to see a tailor for anything she wore. Being slightly vain about her appearance, Anna was used to being subtle about her abilities so she could use them whenever the need popped up.
"Well, I'm brimming with curiosity." Anna said with a grin and took his hand as she stood up. She let herself slide easily back into her coat and scarf which straightened themselves faster then physically possible for most people. Another small habit of Anna's. She found herself thinking of all the things that he could possibly be able to so. Never having seen another mutant, Anna was left only to consider whatever random superpower like ability came into her thoughts. She also knew it wasn't for public use and so she let her mind run rampant over the possibilities.

Once Anna was settled into her coat and scalf Will led her out of the cafe with a wave at the barista who had served them before going back into the cold. Oh yeah, he was going to miss the warmth of the cafe but the lady had asked and who was he to refuse a lady? Well, he supposed his mother would be pleased to know that he had never lost his manners, although had he still been in contact with her she would have demanded to meet Anna- alas his mother was one of those who lamented the fact that she had no grandchildren yet...even before he had left she had often told him it was her greatest wish to see him married well with a family of his own...a wish that was slowly getting further and further away with age.
He looked about him however once they were outside, taking note of how many people were wondering about- which was quite a few by the looks of things...this cafe was pretty popular if the amount of people inside was anything to go by so he certainly couldn't go about demonstrating his ability here. He mentally thought about where he could possibly go, having never really had the time to fully check out the park before now before he turned his head slightly to look down the pathway. Ah, there were plenty of trees down there and if they went off the path they weren't likely to get caught by any humans.
"This way," He softly told Anna, touching her arm to get her attention before starting at a leasurely pace towards the trees, aiming to find a place that was out of sight of everyone else- he had promised to show her, not the whole damn park. Once they were far enough in that he was sure no one could possibly see them he stopped and turned to face her fully a frown on his lips. "I'm no so good at showing people." He said truthfully, "People don't like it." That bit was the lie...he didn't like showing people as he honestly believed that if he kept using his power one day he would never be able to step foot into daylight again. A part of him believed he wasn't worthy enough to be with others...even if they were mutants.
With a sigh he stepped back, his mind instantly focused on every shadow the trees about them cast, working out which one would be the easiest to step in to and which would be the easiest to manipulate. Finally he took another step back and for a split second nothing seemed to happen until he all of a sudden seemed to sink into the ground. A few moments later and he still did not appear although his voice could be heard. "I manipulate shadows and darkness...I tend to travel this way." He appeared once again, this time behind her, "But I can also bend them to my will or create nightmares." He didn't mention that the nightmares tended to affect him more than anyone else.

Anna had a lot of extended family on her mother's side. Her mother's sisters all had kids and were always asking after Anna and whether she had decided to settle down yet. Anna of course had no intention of doing so yet. Her career was everything at the moment. Her father didn't seem to care one way or the other on the matter and left Anna alone in that respect. Anna did like children, but she often felt she might not make as good of a mother as her own did, and so she tried not to dwell on the subject.
Anna just let him lead and followed as he headed toward less populated areas. She found her curiosity only grew as they walked and she didn't really bother to notice the people around them as they moved into the park. When they stopped at a section where there were no people wandering nearby, Anna smiled and tilted her head to watch William's every move. "I promise not to run scared." Anna said as a small joke in response to his warning that not all people liked his ability. She figured it was a good thing she didn't scare easily. Anna was so comfortable with herself that at times it was hard for her to wrap her mind around the idea that others weren't always so confident. It most likely came from growing up in a family where people tended to dote on you and spoil you. Anna had never felt the fear of being discovered for her ability since she had always believed that she could fall back on her family name and fortune and be alright. It sometimes hindered her when dealing with people who did worry about things like that.
When he disappeared and started speaking Anna let her smile falter for a look of surprise. However, only moments later the grin came back with a child like joy that she rarely displayed. She spun when he reappeared to see him again and couldn't help but clap her hands together. "Well that was absolutely brilliant! Truly fantastic." She said as soon as she got her voice back. His abilities made hers seem like a parlor trick. It was also the first demonstration of another mutant's powers for her and so she couldn't hep the rush of appreciation at him trusting her. The nightmare bit didn't really faze her all that much and she just nodded in understanding.
"That's the most amazing thing I think I've ever seen."

There was a part of Will that really despised using his power so he used the time it took for her to face him to smooth out the deep frown that had settled onto his face as he didn't want her to see that he really disapproved of his own ability. Had he had a different power then perhaps he would view it a little differently but between travelling about in the dark and having to abandon his family to keep them safe then it was no surprise he thought low of it all and to willingly show someone -mutant or not- was no little matter for him. It must say a lot for her if he was so willing to impress her...at least he assumed that was what he was doing.
He was a little more convinced when she turned to face him although he didn't believe a word she said about it. Amazing? Hardly. There were mutants far more impressive than himself and many of them were better people as well. William believed himself to be a somewhat good bloke but being with the Brotherhood had altered many of his previous morals...and that was something he was sure would not be viewed as amazing. He of course did not dare tell her what he had done with this power as he was sure it would be enough to send her running and screaming to the hills.
However he couldn't bring himself to ruin her joyous mood and instead offered her a very small smile in return. He supposed she had never really met many others like themselves if she was acting in such a way and that was very nearly quite endearing...He hoped she wasn't so naive about the way mutants were treated as some tended to be, as he had met several over the last few years who had yet to be attacked for their differences. Ah he wished he could forget that he was different! His parents had been fine with the whole thing but the rest of the town? Oh no, they had not been happy to find a mutant among them. He wished he could hate those humans for ruining his life but as it was nature to fear everything that was different he couldn't bring himself to.
"Its no such a good thing back home," He muttered more to himself than to her although once he had said it he didn't doubt that she had heard every word and he gave a small grimace. "Ignore that."

Although he was smiling when she caught sight of him again, something didn't ring quite true. Anna couldn't really put her finger on it exactly, but it felt like he wasn't as amazed by his own abilities as she was. She felt her own smile falter as she wondered why that would be. She was aware that mutants were not accepted everywhere which was why she hid what she was, but she couldn't see how he could not find his ability to be a gift to be treasured. She almost reached out to touch his shoulder but stopped herself before she could.
Anna would not count herself as a good person. She considered herself to be rather average in terms of moral standing. She would not do bad things, but she also never went out of her way to be good. She might have the slightest inclination to help others at times, but it usually also was for slightly selfish reasons. However, because of this she found it very hard to judge others. In fact, she tended to be neutral in most matters due to her inability to disavow any sides.
Anna couldn't bring herself to ignore what he said. She frowned slightly and this time did touch his shoulder lightly. She stepped a bit closer and peered up at his face with a stubborn look to her. "Most people might not get us or might be frightened of things they don't understand, but this is not something to be ignored or regretted. You have a gift that will always have it's advantages and consequences, but it is a gift nonetheless." Anna spoke steadily and tried to get her point across. She knew that she hardly knew him, but something in her could not let the point go. Perhaps she was not as neutral in the debate as she wished she was. However, she would not let anyone feel lesser because they had something that most did not.
Anna lowered her gaze after a few moments and found herself a bit embarrassed about her conduct. She also let her hand fall to her side as she struggled to find something to say to apologize for her boldness. She floundered for words and was surprised to find that she could not regain her usual stoic calm in any situation. Perhaps it was because being around a fellow mutant brought out the other side of her she kept so carefully bundled away in her every day life. Or it could just be that she very rarely showed so much of herself to someone else. "I'm sorry... I don't mean to be so..." She let her voice fade as she couldn't find anything to finish her sentence with.

It was strangely sweet that she cared so much to comment about it, despite him having told her to ignore the comment he had come out with. Women! Well, he supposed he couldn't just say it was women who went about ignoring comments as he wasn't sexist in the least...he was pretty sure men were just as bad when it was the other way around but he still wished she had listened to him. He hadn't even wanted to say about how his mutant ability had affected his home life but it was a little late to be regretting the words now. She had heard them and had assumed (correctly) that he was upset about it although he supposed he should perhaps elaborate on the fact that he had only left to keep his family safe.
As she touched his shoulder he very nearly flinched away from her, not used to being touched in such a manner- in fact the last time he had been touched in such a gentle way had been back in school when he had dated a lovely redhead called Maggie...but like all things it had ended at the end of the school years and he had simply moved on and as a consequence hadn't actually been with anyone since then. Of course there was the touching involved with fighting but it wasn't the same was it? So when she pulled away he missed the feelings it had evoked in him, missed the comfort and if he was honest with himself missed feeling like someone gave an ass about him. It helped of course that she was attractive but that was hardly a reason to miss it.
"I'm sorry... I don't mean to be so..."
This time his smile was true and a little lop sided as he looked down at her. It was quite cute the way she was suddenly so bashful as before now she had been so abrupt in most of the things she had said- afterall they wouldn't be here right now had she not been so interested in his coat that she had been moved to actually talk to him which was a miracle since most people tended to avoid him- he just threw that 'I'm not interested' vibe and people just walked on by.
"Don't be," He told her as he tucked his hand beneath her chin so he could tilt it in order to peer into her eyes, making her greet his gaze, "Ye must think I left me home because of the comments people made to me? But I left because I couldn't bare the comments made to my family...to be the cause of so much pain? No lassie I would rather take a thousand years of exile to being the reason they live a life of fear." He pulled his hand away from her before stuffing them into his pockets, suddenly feeling very shy. He wasn't one to go about talking to random people he met in the park and he certainly wasn't one to go about invading their personal space!
His words were true however and he meant every one of them. He would never be able to return to Roxburgh until the prejudice against mutants had dwindled away but he feared that such a time would never come in his future and so he had resigned himself to being alone for the rest of his days (he certainly didn't count the Brotherhood as any type of family) and since he was something of a loner he didn't mind being alone so much as some people but his heart ached at the the thought of not seeing his family or the farm again.

Anna didn't usually do touchy feely. In fact, this was out of left field for her and so she couldn't seem to place her emotions at the moment. Anna knew that she inherited her avoidance of close relationships from her father. He had only ever seemed open with her mother, but it was hard not to be open with her mother. Anna wished she could be as in touch with her feelings and the feelings of others as her mother had been. Her brother was like that, he was one of those people it was hard not to love. He drew people to him as well as Anna could draw fabric to her. It was something Anna had always envied.
Anna could see William was smiling and it seemed more genuine then before. She smiled back a bit tentatively and found she didn't have to stare at her feet any more. Slowly she started to regain a sense of balance and found that her thinking was clearer now that she felt less embarrassed about her little outburst.
When William started to speak and Anna felt her head lifted, she couldn't help but look a bit startled. Not at being touched, but more due to the fact that he didn't seem the type to do something like that. However, the startled expression was quickly replaced by a smile that grew slightly as he spoke. It wasn't bright and joyful like her previous smiles, but it was softer and genuine. Anna felt a small glow of relief that he was not bothered by her speaking, and also that he would share this with her. Especially when she knew that talking about this stuff was hard for anybody.
When he took his hand away, Anna tried to let her smile turn more reassuring. he seemed a bit shy about the whole thing, so she wouldn't mention it or push the matter. Instead she settled on a speaking after she had taken a moment to make sure her words would now make sense.
"What you are doing for your family is the bravest thing I've ever heard. I do hope that you will get to go home one day." Anna spoke slowly and measured her words. She knew what it was like to be away from family. With her mother gone and her brother halfway across the country she already felt isolated. She couldn't imagine knowing she might never see her brother again. That was why Anna couldn't help but be almost in slight awe that William would sacrifice so much for his family. It was something to be admired for sure.

"What you are doing for your family is the bravest thing I've ever heard. I do hope that you will get to go home one day."
He didn't agree with her on the first half of her sentence. What he was doing wasn't brave...it was perhaps one of the most cowardly acts that any man could possibly do. He was not brave enough to have stayed behind and he had been afraid of what would have happened had he done so. It had been bad enough that the town was aware of his mutant ability...it hadn't started out all that badly really, just name calling and the occasional empty threat against him but it had spiralled out of control when someone had attempted to set their barn ablaze and the threats were turned against his parents and sister. He had left not long after. He didn't call it brave in the least and how he wished he could return.
"Aye," He turned slightly so he could look deeper into the woods, his eyes drawn to the shadows and darkness there and cursed his power once again- no matter how much he wished to be good there was this part of him that loved the dark and he was afraid that one day he would never step foot in the light again. "To see the farm and my parents...to stand atop the hills? There could be no greater wish." Glad he wasn't facing her his eyes closed slightly in pain as he recalled every good memory he had of Scotland but even though they were good it still pained him to think such things...there was no greater love for him than home and despite all his time away the wound was still so fresh.
He turned back to her and offered her a smile, "But no more talking of that," He couldn't bare to do so any longer! His heart felt like it was being pulled in two all over again and he was glad his hands were in his pockets as somewhere along the line his fingers had clenched together tightly to form fists. "We need to find something a little more cheerful to talk about." He pulled the one hand from his pocket, glad that it had relaxed slightly before offering her his arm once again although he hadn't the first idea what they should now talk about or where on earth they were going to go now. He was so unused to being in such company he was rather at a loss of what to do and he was once again glad that his mother was not around to see it (but he quickly forced himself not to think such things).

Anna had never had much trouble due to her ability, because no one had really ever known. To this day Anna wasn't sure if her mother had ever had more then an inkling and she had only ever told her brother. Her father hadn't the faintest clue that his daughter was one of those mutants he heard about or read about in the paper. Anna knew her father wouldn't disown her if he knew, but only because her father believed that being apart of their bloodline was above criticism. For once Anna was glad her father was a bit of a snob. It meant that if Anna ever did tell him she was a mutant, her father would most likely throw money at the pro-mutant movement and use it to sway favor that way. The only reason Anna had no intention of telling him was that it would mean telling everyone. Her father was not a secretive person and her family was not often out of the pubic eye.
Anna followed William's gaze to the trees and wondered what he saw when he looked at them. When she was a little girl she had loved to watch her mother make shadow puppets on her wall and had been fascinated by the way someones figure could be cast against the wall. However, judging by his look, Anna wasn't so sure William was very proud of his gift. However, it was not something she would pry into if he did not want to talk about it.
"Sometimes I wish I could do more to help people like us. I guess I'm a bit cowardly for hiding who I am." Anna said with a light tone that masked part of the seriousness of her words. Anna might sometimes wish she could tell others about herself, but she had never once wished she could be normal. It hadn't ever crossed her mind. However, it would be easier.
When he changed the subject and offered his arm, Anna smiled in return and let her own arm loop through his. "Very well then. Perhaps you can help me on a small matter. I haven't the faintest idea on what to get my boss for the holidays. It's an ongoing thing that all the assistants attempt to impress her the most, but what on earth can you get a woman who already has everything?"

William was thankful to change the conversation, even if it was to talk about something he was really quite hopeless at. Presents? He had never been very good at things like that and had usually left it to his sister to sort out things like birthdays and christmasses...he had a very bad habit of choosing quite the wrong thing. Which would probably explain why he hadn't had a partner since school...everyone had known he was pretty useless at those sorts of things but in actuality he was quite the romantic softy- as long as he didn't have to figure out gift ideas.
However, as he was rather glad to no longer have to showcase his ability or talk about things that were really quite difficult to think about he was willing to at least attempt to help her. Although he hadn't the first idea who her boss was or what she was like and he supposed that sort of information would be rather useful. He turned so that they were now facing towards the path and the main section of the park that they had previously left and began to head back as he saw no reason to stay behind the cover of trees now that they had finished what they were doing.
As someone who valued their memories as the most important possession they had he found it a little more difficult to think of things with a monetary value and yes he agreed on her comment- what did one get someone who could afford everything they desired? Had he lost his memories then that would be devasting and the only material thing he actually cared about was his coat and the old battered Shakespeare book he carried in the one pocket- everything else was of little consequence as he had learned some time ago that it was just easier to not get attached to things that couldn't be moved with you.
"What does she like?" He questioned her, wondering if she had told him before what her career was before deciding that since she had been so interested in his own coat and the fact that she carried that sketch book about with her told him that it probably had something to do with clothing. "What about something you can't just get from America?" He waved about him slightly to emphasise his words. "Something like proper Cashmere? From the mills of Hawick in Scotland? That be something to brag about." Of course anything from Scotland was enough to brag about as like any Scotsman he was immensly proud of his homeland and he would always compare everything he came across to that back home.
[Note: Hawick is a small town on the Scottish borders and is home to Cashmere ^^ As my family are from there its the only thing I thought of XD]
