Faith was so high strung that anyone approaching her was in danger. She knew she rolled off beaten and abused vibes, but she truly didn’t care. She just wanted to be left alone, period. She wanted to be far away from Logan, from the Facility, from the whole world. She was a failure, a disappointment, and she was reminded of it every freaking day of her life. She was treated like an animal, so she found it easier to embrace that side of her even if it sometimes scared her. Not that she was going to tell anyone. Telling was a sign of weakness, and so was being scared. She wasn’t weak, not after what she had been through. She felt her hands clenched tightly, her broken hand aching as she did but she ignored it, her anger spiking to near levels of uncontrollable rage. She had to keep a lid on it to keep this girl safe. She didn’t want to hurt anyone anymore.

"Damn it... You don't have to come with me, It would be a good experience, though. You say you're not going to stay... You're not a prisoner here. You can come and go as you please, as long as you don't turn on us. Should you decide to stay, though... I'm willing to listen if you want to talk... And I'm not a gossiper, despite what the press says about me, But... I know how it is to feel alone, Well, I'm gonna shut off the target range. You can come if you want, but you don't have to..."

The feral mutant rolled her eyes, and saw her fall after watching her foot get tangled in a tree root. ’I’m going to regret this, I just know it…’ She sighed as she thought that. She couldn’t help but think that this girl is going to get hurt if she didn’t stay near her, and stood straight up from her crouched position. ”I’m only here long enough to rescue X-23. But I need help if I were to make the mission a success…” She responded in answer to Kiara’s statement about her being there. She still couldn’t believe she allowed X-23 to be caught on her behalf, she should have been the one to get taken back. Not her. She was going to remedy that, but Logan isn’t budging to go anywhere. Not that he could get to the place on his own. She was going to have to go as she knew where it was, and she also knew the defenses as well as the traps. She did field test many of them after all.

Faith growled and snarled as she approached the girl. ”You seem to have trouble following you wherever you go. Granted not like my trouble, but trouble still. You can’t even walk without tripping over something…” She answered her about her semi invite to join her to turn of this target range. She heard another piece of machinery start up, and turned just in time to see not another target but a gun spring up from the ground and take aim at them. ”Crap.” She muttered as she grabbed the girl and pulled her towards her as dived out of the way. ”Who in the hell programmed this?!” She snarled from their cover and peered over the edge to map out a possible route that would create the minimal injuries to them.

Kiara smiled slightly at the girl. "You must have a really strong bond with this X-23 person," she said. She didn't ask about the name. Maybe Lycan didn't even know. But it wasn't really her business. "Like family. I'd do anything to help Kiana if she was in trouble, but sometimes..." She looked away. "Sometimes you just can't do something on your own." She turned back to the girl. "It's the people that recognize that who are strong. It's one of our strengths, being able to help each other with our powers." She started walking again. "I remember reading something once... Men win battles, but strategists win wars. Something like that."

Kiara managed to keep quiet when the girl suddenly pulled her to the ground. "Duh!" she said quietly. "You're probably not in the system yet. The scanners don't recognize you, so they think you're a threat." She closed her eyes, listening. "Thankfully, we haven't set off the alarms..." She peeked through the bush, scanning the area. "If I can locate the scanners..." she muttered. She pointed. "There! If we avoid it, we should be fine. Destroying the scanners sets off the alarms," she added quickly. She looked around again. There's supposed to be a control panel somewhere... She stood up.

"I know how to disable the system," she explained. "They won't fire at me because my data's in the system. It's you they're looking for." She smiled slightly. "Just stay put a sec and I'll temporarily shut them down." She went into the trees, away from the scanner. She found the panel, setting the system in their area to shut off for five minutes, then returned to the girl. "The sooner we get back inside, the better," she said honestly. "They'll be able to tell that the security's been shut off, but no alarms will have been tripped. As long as we're inside, we should be fine."
