Everyone has a beginning.
Remy LeBeau was found on the street by Jean Luc Lebeau many years ago. He has trained as a thief his entire life and after escaping the Island returned to his roots of New Orleans where he restarted his life once more with the only family he knew. The Thieves and Assassins are preparing for the wedding between Remy LeBeau and Belladonna Boudreaux, the two who would bring the guilds together.
Many things come between Remy and Bella. Many people stand in their way of being married, even Remy himself is unsure of it. Julien, Bella's older brother, detests Remy and has made it is duty not to allow the wedding to happen. While Bella stands by her love for the thief, Remy is out finding a way to get out of the marriage.
There is also the case of his powers. Remy's powers have become uncontrollable. Everything he touches ends up exploding. He would do anything to get control, even seek the help of a questionable Dr. Nathaniel Essex.
