The war was done. Or so they thought. Buffy, Willow, Xander, Dawn, Faith, and Giles stood in awe, looking at the hole that was their beloved hometown, Sunnydale. They had no where to go, so Giles suggested they move to Meadow Brook Falls, England, and rebuild the Watcher's Council, since the Watcher's Council would be a help with all the newly activated slayers.
Everything was going great. Buffy was settling into her position as head vampire slayer, getting used to training her group of slayers regularly, and making lots of new friends. Willow was enjoying teaching Wicca classes, teaching young witches, or humans that wanted to help, some magic, since she had learned to control her own magic.
Xander was training under Giles to become a watcher, since he felt he didn't fit in, and soon enough he'll have his own slayer to train. Dawn was part time secretary for her older sister in the main office of the Council, and she took classes at the local university. Giles was head honcho of the whole council, and he took care of a lot of meetings, and making sure every slayer had a trainer or a watcher. Faith was helping Buffy train the slayers, feeling she still has to make amends with Buffy.
Everything was still going smoothly. Until one day, where Buffy went to patrol, alone, and she came across a super-strong vampire, and she tried to fight him, but he was just too much for Buffy. Luckily instead of killing her, he turned her into one of his own. A vampire slayer. What irony. As soon as Willow and the gang heard about this, they got their best witches and restored her soul.
Buffy feels her slayers have lost respect for her, but they haven't, and everyone seems to respect her more, even though she feels like she's failed, since she let a vampire get the best of her. Her friends assure her they'll get the guy. After lots of research, Giles finds out that it's an ancient vampire, who was killed long ago, in 1954, he was too old to be named, and somehow, he's back. Back and planning to end the world.
