Lexine Mercia Sullivan !
[/size]Full Name: Lexine (defender of the people) Mercia (mercy) Sullivan
Nicknames: Fox, Foxglove, Lex, Lexi
Codename: Foxglove – definition of Foxglove is: One of the loveliest, most important plant species used for its digitalis but is highly poisonous.
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Birthday: 31st October
Species: Mutant
Orientation: Straight
Status: Single & looking (sorta)
Face Claim: Audrey Kitching (model)
Student/Professor/Occupation: Unemployed but studies plants and wildlife
Which side are you on?: Xmen
Abilities: Plant manipulation- Lexi's main use of her power is to create plant life with very little effort. She can grow plants out of season and even out of its natural habitat if need be but as she has a great respect for the earth around her she doesn't do this often as she believes in keeping the balance. Her true passion with her ability is to grow herbs and plants that allow her to create her own remedies and even dyes- which she uses to colour her hair and she always makes sure that her remedies are stocked in the medical facilities in the school as she refuses to use anything that she can't make herself.
Of course, she may be a pacifist at heart but she can use her power as a weapon and it would be no surprise to see her practicing with a whip made of thorns- her favourite weapon. She also goes out of her way to surround the school walls with vines and thorns to help keep people from climbing the walls...if they happened to get past the cameras and other technological nonsense of course. However, she has a misunderstood love for poisons (being that no one understands why she does it) and spends quite a lot of time in the lab creating and analyzing said poison. Lexi herself is completely immune to it since she herself is attached to nature but she always makes an antidote just in case some moron manages to get hold of what she has made.
Along with being immune to poison Lexi has heightened speed and senses when outside. This allows her to move about the trees with barely any effort and she can always tell when someone is doing something they shouldn't to her plants. As an interesting side note she considers her plants as her friends and claims that they talk to her so its never much of a surprise to see her sat in a tree with her eyes closed listening to he stories they have to tell her.
Ability Limits: Lexi's main limit to her ability is that it only really works when she is outside in the fresh air. If someone were to lock her away from any sort of plant life she would simply wither away and die- like a plant she needs the sun, rain and soil to keep her alive which is why she hates spending time inside the house and why she won't stay indoors for very long. Her greatest fear is being locked away in a room with no windows and this leads her to have horrible panic attack.
Lexi is also pretty useless against fire. Fire destroys things and especially plants. Plants can be burned to a crisp within minutes and as such she hates being around any sort of naked flame. Hell, she goes mad at anyone who flicks their cigarette butts onto the ground!
Whilst not exactly a limit to her power it is something she hates more than anything and its a part of her that she wishes to never use. Thanks to her ability to 'talk' with plants and trees she is well aware of how man and mutant has affected the planet and as such is hyper aware of the dangers to the Eco system. She knows that over time the oldest trees have slowly been poisoned into hating mankind and as she spends time with such trees she herself is poisoned as well. This probably wouldn't be a problem if her mind was stronger against such attacks. Although a peaceful person it probably wouldn't be hard to say that at some point in the future she could snap and attack those she has sworn to protect, all in order to avenge those she considers true friends.
Character: Original
Eyes: Very dark green
Hair: Was originally blonde but is now pink. Often has different coloured streaks.
Body Type: Bordering on underweight but not quite there. Has the curves in the right places but has the muscles if you choose to look close enough. Short!
Weight: 105llbs
Height: 5'3
Flaws: Not so noticeable any more but she does have a scar on her scalp under her hair and several scars on her back but those are covered by her tattoo
Favorite: Her hair is her favourite feature as its a testimony of her natural hair dyes. Also her tattoos- she has one under her right eye in the shape of a leaf and has a intricate black rose and vine tattoo starting on her left shoulder blade and ending on her right foot.
GENERAL APPEARANCE---
The most noticeable thing about Lexi is that she is very short but she firmly believes that size isn't everything. Especially when you add heels into the mix. However, despite her size she is rather well toned as she tends to work out when she can and living such a healthy lifestyle as she does has its benefits since she firmly believes in organic everything. As mentioned before she has two tattoos, each showing her love for nature and she plans on getting more at some point or other in the future. The only other thing that should be said about her appearance apart from the fact her hair is bright pink is that she always looks quite shabby when working in the garden and has a bad habit of walking around barefoot.
Wardrobe: Lexi lives in dark coloured jeans and tank tops since she never bothers with dressing up as she spends most of her day getting muddy. She refuses to wear shoes if she can help it as she loves digging her toes into the ground and feeling nature beneath her skin. Of course, outside of her garden her style leans towards punk/rock/goth ...actually she doesn't label herself as anything but if she likes it she will wear it. The way she dresses belies the fact that she is really very wealthy until you see her in one of her suits or when she dresses up in an actual dress. As a side note she has pierced ears, nose and belly button.

GENERAL PERSONALITY---
Lexi is a slightly misunderstood young woman. Thanks to having an upper class British accent (which she is determined to be rid of) many people automatically class her as a bit of a snob and so think she doesn't want to be around them. They tend to avoid her for being smart as well and although she is a self proclaimed bookworm she is a very outdoors kind of girl. Until it comes to fighting anyway. Lexi hates fighting and tends to avoid any and all forms of battle and so when it comes to training at the school she will hide herself in a tree somewhere. She much prefers to patch people up than attempt to attack them.
Of course, like any normal being she has sides of herself that she wants to hide away from the world. The first being that she is in fact a very wealthy woman but she hides this fact behind scruffy clothes, tattoos and piercings. The second is that despite being a peaceful person she enjoys discovering poisons and that she has seen the darker side of plants which in turn has slightly poisoned her mind against both humans and mutants but it hasn't gotten too far out of hand to become an issue.

GENERAL HISTORY---
Lexi was born into a very old money family, with doting parents and a lifestyle many would kill for. However, thanks to various reasons her mother was unable to have any more children and she became the heir to the family fortune, much to the dismay of herself as she got older and her parents who had hoped to have several children to share the legacy. Despite this Lexi was never short of love and attention and although she sometimes wished to have other siblings craved the attention she was given.
She was a bright child and easily skipped to high school a good few years before her other friends did. Sent to a boarding school for most of the year Lexi had a mixture of popularity and contempt from her peers- thanks to her wealth many people wanted to be her friend in hopes of progressing their careers when they left school and because of her age was seen as someone who thought themselves better than everyone else. This mentality of children left her with very few friends and she chose to keep herself to herself, throwing herself into her studies and it was at this time that she found a deep and profound love for the sciences. Especially biology. She loved being able to understand the working of the human body and the effects things had on it and this led to her professors introducing her to the world of medicines.
However her world soon came crashing down around her as her mutant powers began to manifest at the age of 14. Luckily mutants weren't as well known in England and when she told her parents they accepted her power, not caring that she would never be the same as before. She was their baby girl and nothing would change that. Until people began to notice the changes in the girl and then everything went to hell. Her parents had no choice but to sell up what they could and move with their daughter to America, to a school where people like her were accepted. Except they never arrived. Their private plane was attacked as it landed on American soil and it was only through the quick thinking of her parents that she came out of it alive- leaving her with scars that she wishes to hide away from the world as she gets very tight lipped about what happened that night. As it stands her parents died and everything was left to her.
She refuses to tell anyone what happened the night she landed in America and instead has made her home at the school for gifted youngsters.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE—-It had been a slow day today and unbelievably hot for British weather...both of which she had no time or patience for. She hated hot weather and really did prefer winter and she didn't like doing nothing with her time, keeping busy stopped her thinking about things and since her thoughts usually turned to what happened when she was younger she really did prefer to keep herself occupied.
Which wasn't helping her now was it? Here she was sitting against the hood of the only car in the garage car park, legs crossed together and a fag dangling from her lips as she watched the world pass her by, wondering if any of those people were human like her or one of the supernatural freaks who had played a part in destroying her life.... Not that it mattered now, everything she had had once had and cared for was long gone and all she had left was this meaningless life. The only time she ever seemed to become lively was when she was surrounded by the local kids- they never judged her, never accused her of something she hadn't done and she enjoyed teaching them things she had learnt over the years. Many of them had no parents and they relied on someone like her to protect them and to look over them and she enjoyed that sense of belonging but again it never lasted very long...the street kids around here were the ones who got 'lost'- they would just disappear one day and she knew why, knew what happened on these streets when all the regular folks went to bed.
"Hey!" Her thoughts were broken by the annoyed call from her boss and she turned her head to the side to look at Bert- a big man with a beer belly and greying hair, always with a joke or two and a laugh that sounded like a booming cannon. She wasn't in trouble, she knew that immediately, in fact his annoyed call had a hint of amusement to it and she tilted her head again in a slight nod. "Get back ter work you lazy girl! I don't pay you to take a load of fag breaks all day!"
She snorted but stood upright and flicked her fag away from her before crushing it beneath the heel of her cowboy boots and turned back to the hunk of junk behind her with a small frown on her face. She really hated this damn thing! It had been coming back here every month since the fat pig of a male who owned it had bought it...and she had the feeling he did it on purpose, always coming back here and getting her to have a look at it. She popped the hood and bent over so she could stick her head under the bonnet, trying to find the 'problem'.
Behind her the 'pig of a male' sauntered up to Bert, his eyes taking in the site as he did so. She was an attractive girl that was for sure....she was short but her legs seemed to go on forever and because of the hot weather they were clad in only a denim skirt leaving her milky skin visible to everyone and a green shirt tied at the bottom leaving her flat stomach open to the air. Oh yes, she was attractive but he wasn't stupid- he knew about her reputation and wasn't crazy enough to try anything but he wasn't going to stop coming here anytime soon...nah, he liked the view far too much to do that and right now his eyes were trained on her lower back, to the words inked on her back and the skirt that hung off her hips.
Lexi frowned as she continued with her work, feeling the eyes on her and hating it. She knew she looked good but that didn't mean she wanted every Tom, "Yes I accept," said Mr. Twinkles and Harry staring at her all the time....if this had been anywhere else she would have knocked his lights out but since she was paid for her time here she had to be on her best behaviour, not to mention she had known Bert since forever and he was as close to family as she could get. She owed it to him to not scare away his customers....no matter how much she really, really wanted to do it.
