The battle for the Hellmouth left a lot of scars on a lot of people; it left families broken, friendships decimated and lovers distraught. The events leading up to it were no better, and the times that followed were slowly starting to make things normal again, or as normal as they could ever be for the Scooby Gang from Sunnydale, California. The group started to try to rebuild their lives in a new city, for most of them; this was Los Angeles, California.
Though, for part of the group; the one who had really given the greatest sacrifice, a souled vampire named Spike, his life took a turn for the stranger. An amulet given to Buffy by Angel had taken from the scene of his death to an all new city. He found himself in a place called Cromwell, and he came face to face with an older vampire he had befriended back in his prime in England. The vampire, it turned out, had been the one to get word of some amulet thing that could potentially save everything. HE wasn’t sure of the specifics, but the vampire got it to the right people, and they figured it out, it turned out. That vampire’s name was Milos Derrall, and he had enchanted the amulet to return to Cromwell if it were to succeed, and when Spike turned up with the amulet, and the world didn’t end, Milos figured his work was done.
Boy, was he wrong. After he got the amulet back, turned out his old friend was sort of attached to it there for a while, and when he was finally able to get his real body back, the vampire had one hell of a story to tell. But, eventually, it came down to it, and the Derrall knew he could probably fix his friends problems. He was able to find a priest to go over the other, and there were many things amiss about the vampire. Spike had been messed with by some monks at some point in time, and it fueled a ridiculously disgusting obsession with a slayer, but they were able to fix it; thankfully. Then, there was a chip of some sort that could potentially hurt the other from inside the back of his head, and turned out one of Milo’s kids knew the right guy to get it out of his head, and lastly, they had the business of a soul to get rid of. As soon as all that was taken care of, in less than 6 months, Spike was as good as new.
Though, their activities didn’t go unnoticed. A little bird happened to drop the news of a town basically run by vampires to a Slayer in L.A; and she packed up her troops, and decided she was going to go in there, and fight the good fight.
So, as it stands now, there’s a group of vampires deemed bad, and there’s a group of Scoobies, and they are doing all they can to eradicate the “bad guys”. So whose side will you take? Either way,
