The year is 2027, and the world today is much worse than when we last saw it. Anti-mutant feeling is on the rise again, even though many mutant organizations have fallen apart and gone their seperate ways. ...Mostly. From the ashes of these groups comes the new era. Will they find peace and try to fix this new world, or continue the last generations' strife? The Xavier Institute has become more strict than any normal boarding school - even more than several other mutant ones that had been built. Due to violence against mutants, students are rarely allowed to leave the grounds. Of course, kids will be kids, and several go out on the town now and then, occasionally to help or bug MAIM -- the Mutual Alliance Intelligence for Mutants. The group works towards political acceptance of mutants - and seems to be an honestly legitimate organization in the public eye. Add to that the growing Morlock numbers, a newly formed Brotherhood (whose members are green as leaves) and all the usual havoc life plays - well, it really isn't hard to see why humans in powerful government positions are growing worried again. The staff at Xaviers' placates the humans - they will only teach their students, train them to control their powers and fit in with homo sapiens. It won't be like before. It can't be like before, because nobody - everyone still alive, at least - knows that they couldn't live through all of it a second time. So all the kids learn and all the teachers teach. Plain and simple. Right? HOME ;; RULES ;; CHARACTER SHEET
