Emma had always wanted to help people when she was younger but all that change, she had become angry and bitter at the words and had become the woman she was today. Emma still helped people if she saw it fit to help them, but while at Xavier’s she was a teacher that had to help. Deep down she liked that she had come back to this but she was still cold on the outside.
She tried to help the students with their problems but there were others that needed help with their powers. She knew allot about mutant powers and genetics she was smart despite her looks. She could help people resolve issues with their powers at times or even help bring their powers with their full potentional.
She sat with her eyes closed in the kitchen as she looked at her food bored, so much she could do with her power, but sometimes there was limitations to what she could do. She knew a mutant that could use her help, but could she really help her? She looked up for a moment as she turned and tapped her head sending a message to the woman on mind.
‘We need to talk.’

Ever since meeting Remy, Rogue had been acting different. She was actually smiling, a genuine smile, and she didn't hide as much. She was infact oblivious to the world around her as she went on with her day. She was even humming, and no one knew why. She didn't even hear the whispers going on with people trying to figure out why the once shunned depressed ex-Brotherhood mutant was happy. After all no one had seen anything happen. She had changed overnight, and only Rogue knew why. So far it seemed either the telepaths had not gone into her mind to find out or had and were keeping their mouths shut. Rogue however was blissfully unaware of the stir she was creating. Humming happily under her breath to the song 'Tik Tok' by Kesha ( which she had memorised ) she strolled through the corridors of the institute. The dark clothes were even disappearing, whilst more and more colour was being seen in her clothing. To everyone else it was a perplexing mystery.
Upon hearing a voice in her head Rogue paused mid-stride and came out of her daydreams about Remy. She recognised the voice as Emma Frost. She tilted her head briefly, wondering what Emma wanted to talk about. However she was so happy she simply chirped a perky 'okay' in her mind as she spotted Emma not too far down the hallway she was currently on. Dressed in a simple long trumpet sleeved red dress that ended at her knee, with a pair of skin tone coloured leggings, her black ugg boots, and her hair done in a plait, along with a pair of skin tone gloves, Rogue for once looked feminine and stood out. She wasn't wearing dark clothes, and wasn't trying to hide. She was just too lost in Remy. God, he really did something to her. He was definately something special and she was smitten. She skipped over to Emma, smiling. She hadn't thought anything depressing since her first date with Remy, meaning she had totally forgotten about her cursed powers. Deep down, even Rogue knew that wouldn't last forever.
"Hey Emma, ya wanted to see meh?"

Emma was surprised to see Rogue come so quickly and smiling, maybe the young woman had been close by when she had sent out her telepathic message to her.
She wondered what had made her so happy with things, usually the woman was dark and grumpy. It wasn’t her fault though, it was her powers that made her so negative. She didn’t like she couldn’t touch anyone, or know things that Emma knew well.
“Yes I did Rogue.” She said in her usually fake British accent. Emma sat and put her hand together and smirked for a moment and put her hand out and other the young woman a seat.
“I thought I might be able to help you.” She explained “You know I know allot about mutations and maybe we can work together in order to understand yours.”
Emma looked her in the eyes.
“I will not give you false hope about this; Don’t get your hopes up ever. I can’t guarantee anything you see. “She explained “But maybe we can explore how your powers work and why they work the way they do, and maybe find a way to control them one day.”
Emma looked in her eyes still.
“But again I might not be able to do this, even with all my knowledge and power, Do you want my help.”

Rogue listened to Emma, unable to take away the happy smile on her face. She found herself soon fantasising however. If she did end up controlling her ability with thanks to Emma she could touch Remy without any risks. They could make love in the future if she could gain control. Then again, knowing Remy he'd probably make love to her whether she had control or not. She swore he had a death wish sometimes. Of course her relationship with Remy was just at the beginning, so she had no intention of doing anything but hand holding with gloves, or cuddling with clothes covering her. She wouldn't have kissed him - well besides the first time when she showed him her ability - in the first place. Remy had initiated all the kisses after the first one, and well, Remy was extremely skilled at kissing. Once he statrted she tended to forgot everything but the pleasure he was inflicting upon her.
"Ahm willing to do anything for the chance Emma."
Rogue replied honestly. She wasn't going to get her hopes up though. She had been this way for so long that she wasn't sure if there was any help for her. Of course she had her own suspicions. She suspected that because her ability activated under such a traumatic situation - her first kiss causing Cody to go into a coma - that it had somehow screwed up her brain and ended up blocking whatever switch she should have to turn her ability on and off. Rogue also wondered if maybe the powers she had absorbed over the years were perhaps deep deep down in the recesses of her mind, and so not gone, but just unable to be found to be used. She also found herself wondering sometimes the extents of her power. Could it grow into something more? Would she end up going insane with the psyches and if her power grew like the Phoenix? Sometimes she did worry. It couldn't be healthy for her to have so many psyches of other people in her head.

Emma knew this was something of a long shot to try, Rogue powers were very complicated and her mutation was unique and something Emma hadn't dealt with. It was hard to deal with the a mutation like Rogue. She could take people powers but a bit of there life force, and it all came from touching skin.
This is were the difficulty started how can you change that part of her mutations, she knew she might be able to to help with her telepathic powers, but then again maybe not. This is why she made it clear to Rogue that this might not help her.
Emma Closed her eyes for a moment and smiled for a moment.
“Alright please relax then and allow me to into your mind, let have a look to see what might be possible.”
Emma opened her eyes again and her eyes glowed, she knew this would be difficult it seemed there much more to this then she first thought. There were a lot to her mind and she never knew that she looked to the woman for a moment and focused on every part of her brains to look to she what causes this mutation to stayed turned on. What she saw was a mind that was chaotic with memoires and others.
“Its seems this will be more difficult then I thought, my dear. “ Emma explained “ "Its seems you adsorbed people's memories when you absorb people's powers. I do my best to ride the you of those thoughts. Then look about yours powers a bit more.”
Emma closed her eyes again and held her hands out for a moment as in her mind she created a brain that she could work with.

Rogue nodded and relaxed her mind. She forced herself to stop thinking of Remy ( which was hard to do since she was so smitten ) and took to gazing lazily around the hallway. Although her mind would be quite full due to other peoples' psyches and memories in there Rogue was always good at tidying each one away into its own seperate 'box' as it were for each person. A part of her liked the idea that maybe deep in the recesses of her mind the powers she had taken were there and infact not temporary. After all if she had the powers she had absorbed since her power activated she could actually be useful in a fight. Of course though the main reason for this was to actually be able to turn her ability off so she could actually touch. She had already accepted she'd never be able to touch without hurting someone years ago but having found Remy now Rogue really wanted to be able to touch him. He was insanely reckless and kept kissing her despite the fact she ended up absorbing him. Sometimes she did wonder if he had a death wish.
"Ah know ah absorb their memories. Its never all of them, just random ones. Ah guess maybe their the ones at the forefront of their mind at the time."
Rogue responded, confirming Emma's findings thus far. Rogue was used to having other people in her head - the psyches she got from her ability. However having a telepath in her head was a lot different then that. She hadn't been able to fully feel what it was like when Charles went into her mind since she had been pretty much half crazy at the time. She had just absorbed Carol until she was near death, and hanging onto her that long had just been too much for her to handle at that time. Fortunately Charles found her and was able to put Carol in her own 'box' in Rogue's mind when Rogue could not. Right now though she could feel Emma in there. Closing her eyes she let herself feel and see where Emma was in her mind, not interfering or blocking her but just watching like a fly on the wall. What could she say? She was curious.
