This place was all too eerily familiar to the man, it had seemed like just yesterday he was attempting the rescue of the French Presidents daughter Claire Desmarais from a group known as 'La Main cramoisie' the layout was the exact same and he closed his eyes after sitting down in his hotel room and laying on his bed.
"Miss Desmarais, this is Tank from US Special Forces...do you speak English?" he asked and recieved in response with a bit of static from her Cell Phone "Oui, hurry! they're coming f-" she began to scream and the call was disconnected. "Shit...lock and load boys, sounds like we're gonna be pulling a rescue, I managed to track her phone to this point L'Hôtel Paris" he pointed to a point on the map. "Room 206, third floor" he looked to his men and just smirked "Let's kill them before they can kill the girl eh?" he teased and finally they were on their way.
They finally fought their way through the terrorist occupied hotel and managed to take an elevator up, because one of them had to be lazy and didn't want to take the stairs. "Go to the left" the doors immediately opened and there seemed to be no resistance from either side. "Breach!" screamed Tank and he slammed straight through the door, yet there was nothing there. And a helicopter was heard spinning it's rotors straight up on the roof, looking up he saw Claire being carried away, it was failed and she was never heard of again.
The only reason he remembered and began to think about it, was because he was in Room 206. In what was the American version of what he believed to be the L'Hôtel Paris....

For what seemed like the thousandth time Lexi cursed the fact that she was rich. She had received a letter from her lawyers stating that they needed to see her as soon as possible to settle some affair or other and that they couldn't wait any longer than a week from the date of the letter. Which was rather a pain since she had received the damn thing only the day before leaving her precious little time to organise the meeting- which was why she was currently stood in the lobby of one of the larger hotels in the area. She had expressly forbidden any contact at the school as she was still trying to hide her wealth from those around her and if lawyers started to turn up then that plan would just end up in flames.
Sighing she looked about her, feeling incredibly stupid as she did so. She had chosen to wear a suit that covered up the largest of her tattoos and a pair of sensible shoes that pinched slightly as they were brand new (not to mention she hated wearing shoes anyway) and she felt really very silly. This was a far cry from her usual jeans and t shirt and not for the first time cursed the fact that she had to dress the part of a rich woman. Even if she did have bright pink hair and looked completely out of place in this place.
Ignoring the stares she finally decided to head to the reception and handing over her credit card told the clerk that she had a room booked and that she would be staying at least one night. She didn't desire spending more time than that in this place and the only reason she was planning to stop was that according to her lawyer the business was going to take some time to sort out.
"Yes Miss Sullivan, your room is ready for you...would you like your bag sent up?" She nodded, ignoring the look he was giving her as she was more than used to it by now and instead chose to look back into the lobby eyes still searching for the man she was waiting for. "Oh yes, you have a message." She turned back to him, eyebrow raised. "Unfortunately your lawyer has been caught in traffic from the airport and will not arrive until this evening. He asks that you join him for dinner once he arrives."
"I'll go to my room now then." And with that turned on her heel and stalked off to the elevator where the bellhop ran to catch up with her.
Once at her room she tipped the hop before going inside. Looking about her she frowned before giving a small groan. Of course. They had only given her one of the better rooms in the hotel and had they known who she was she had no doubt they would have stuck her in a penthouse suite...which was why she was so thankful they hadn't the first clue. Looking at her watch she timed how long it would take to get changed and ready and made the decision that she should jump into the shower now if she wanted to be downstairs before he turned up. There was no way she was going to show up late for a meeting like this!
Two hours later and she was coming out of her room dressed in a plain black backless dress that fell to the floor and slightly pooled about her feet thanks to her height. Her hair had been pulled up into such a messy bun that it looked like it might just tumble back down again and diamond drop earrings were upon her ears with a matching necklace about her neck. She might not have come into the hotel looking very rich but she certainly held herself now looking for all the world like the daughter of some rich and powerful man.
"Why am I doing this?" She muttered as she locked her door.
