Deadpool barely had time to dodge as the knife came flying back at him. Catching it with his right hand, he flipped it back into its place on his belt and continued on his way. It wasn't like she really needed the knife itself, anyway...
A muffled gunshot alerted him to the presence of several armed men and women. Diving behind a dumpster, he peered around the cold aluminum, just in time to hear the girl warn him about the very men shooting at him.
"Well, this is just fantastic," he grumbled under his breath. Pulling a cell phone out of a pouch on his belt, he hit a button on speed dial, willing the man on the other line to pick up.
"What do you want, Deadpool?" a low voice growled on the other end of the line.
"Heya boss. Quick question," Deadpool whispered into the phone. "Let's say... hypothetically speaking... would it be bad if a bunch of humans with weapons kidnapped the kid?"
"What the hell did you do?!" the man on the other end of the line shrieked. Deadpool held the phone a foot away from his ear and considered blasting the damn thing, until he remembered that he didn't have his guns anymore. "Of course it's bad, you idiot! If the AMM gets their hands on her, then this all was for naught."
"Okay, okay, don't get your panties in a bunch," he hissed. "I'll figure something out. Oh, and you better pay me extra for this." He snapped the phone shut with a click, cutting off his employer's protests. Peering around the corner again, he saw the armed men still standing there.
"Oh, what the hell. Might as well distract them a bit."
Standing up, he dashed out from his hiding place. "Hey, you! In the black clothes!" he shouted, and every person there turned around, aiming their weapons at him. Waving, he clutched the knife behind his back with his other hand. "Catch!" With a flick of his wrist, he threw it at the closest man, planting the blade deep in his chest and knocking him off his feet. A rain of gunfire splintered the ground where Deadpool had been standing moments before. Dodging most of the bullets, he called out, "Catch me if you can, suckers!", and sprinted off, several men on his tail.

[/b] She spoke, authority ringing in her soft voice that anyone could hear usually oozed kindness. Deep down Molly did hate violence as well as hurting others but each time she was on a mission she remembered her father had been killed by a mutant in cold blood and did what she had to do. After all each mutant she met could be the one that killed her daddy and she was not going to live life without justice. That, and she also did it to stay close to her brother as well as protect him. Sometimes it felt like her brother was all she had left and she refused to loose him. In the AMM her innocence, kindness, and trusting nature was easily manipulated, and she had no idea it was happening. It really did show how niave and gullible she was, and how she was oblivious to it all. Molly swung her blade towards the male, aiming to cut at his right leg so the male would at least trip if he didn't stop to fight. [/sub][/ul][/blockquote]

Deadpool heard one of the armed men approaching, and he slowed slightly to look back. As he turned his head, he felt a blade bite into the back of his leg. Pain shot up his limb, and he stumbled. He turned the trip into a roll, giving the muscles in his leg time to knit themselves back together. Springing back up to his feet, he kept running. Strangely, though he knew he had increased his speed, he wasn't going any faster. The wind had picked up, creating a powerful headwind. Ducking his head against the wind, Deadpool pushed onward.
Gotta get to the car. If I can get to the car, I can get my backup weapons. Must. Keep. Running.
Approaching the warehouse where he had parked his car, Deadpool slammed against the door, only to find it locked. "Just my luck," he hissed. Raising one foot, he blasted the door off its hinges with a powerful kick. His pursuers were closing in. Sprinting to the red car, he leapt nimbly over the hood, landing behind the car, and fumbling for the keys. Clicking the button, the truck popped open, right as the armed men started pouring in through the doorway. He froze, surrounded on all sides.
"Heya," he grinned, waving at the men. "I, uh, don't suppose you could just let me off with a warning?" When no one laughed, he sighed, shaking his head. "Have you no sense of humor?" He could clearly see his backup weapons in the trunk, just out of reach. He could also see several of the men holding tranquilizer guns. That could be problematic. Oh well. Might as well go for it. Deadpool dove for the trunk, praying that he would make it in time.

Kiana saw the woman go after the man who had attacked her. The woman had a justified reason for hating mutants, as it appeared that someone she was close to had been killed by one. But this was different. This woman... There was something about her... Something familiar... Kiana didn't have the energy to think about it as the guards surrounded her. She stood shakily, using the wall for support. There was no way out of this. Not with her powers so close to making her black out. She had no choice but to give in to these humans. She raised one of her hands into the air, as a sign of surrender. The other hand was busy keeping her propped up against the wall.

William was not happy about having to hide and wait to catch the mutants. He could be very impatient, especially when it came to capturing mutants, so he hated to just sit there and watch them. The whole time the AMM hid, William was forcing himself not to move around. It was hard staying in one position while watching the pathetic mutants fight with themselves. He sighed and looked at his watch a lot while waiting for the mutants to stop fighting each other. As soon as the girl was on the ground though, William ordered everyone to move in on the mutants. It seemed the kid was going to be easy to capture, but he was sure the man would give them some trouble. When the AMM came out of hiding and was ready to capture the mutants, the male mutant decided to give them some trouble as William thought he would.
As William was a higher ranking member of the AMM, he knew all of the members, and he was allowed to give orders to anyone whose rank was lower than him. He also knew everyone's position in this certain mission. When the mutant threw the knife and it hit an AMM member, William could not help but stop mid-step and think about exactly what member the mutant just killed. Even though William was a part of the AMM he could still be selfish, and he wasn't thinking of who got killed because he cared about them, he was just making sure it wasn't his sister. William had always been very protective of his sister and even though he was happy she decided to follow his footsteps by joining the AMM, he did not like worrying about her. The knife could have stabbed her and killed her. William did not like that.
He was one of the last members to get close to the mutants as he had been the farthest away from them. As many of the AMM members went towards the male mutant, William decided to go for the girl. He never even noticed his sister going towards the male mutant until William was already beside the girl getting ready to restrain her. He looked up when an AMM member told him someone was already at the male mutant getting ready to take them down. "Who is.." he started to say but stopped short when he saw his sister holding her blade near the mutant. "Damnit" William said. Most people would have mistaken his sister for a guy with what she was wearing, but William could tell who she was no matter what she wore or where she was. He just had a very protective instinct when it came to her. He was too far away right then to help her though. He had to make sure the girl mutant was restrained before he was able to do anything else. He lost track of his sisters fight when the girl stood up and held herself against the wall. William just laughed at her. "I knew this would be easy" He said as he pointed his gun at the girl. "Restrain her" He then ordered the other members.

Deadpool winced as he felt the all-too familiar sting of a tranquilizer dart digging into his shoulder. The effects were almost instantaneous. He began to feel woozy, and the bag slipped from his grasp, scattering his weapons across the floor. Grabbing the two closest guns, he started firing completely at random. Bullets whizzed about the room, and several more tranquilizer darts found their mark. Pulling the trigger once more, he was disappointed to hear the hollow click that meant he had run out of ammo. Throwing the guns to the side, he surveyed the damage.
He was happy to discover that he had either killed or injured most of the men. The woman who had attacked him was still standing, to his disappointment. He blindly grabbed a katana, and shakily stood up. The tranquilizers were fimally taking full effect, and he staggered as his vision spun. He raised his katana, wondering numbly why his arm felt so heavy.
"C'mon," he slurred, taking a shaky step forward and trying not to collapse as the room spun. "I'm not finished yet. Bring it on!"

[/i] a few of the males she had seen in her time. They were mutants though. There was nothing good in them as far as she knew. "This is your end mutant." She told him firmly, her english accent leaking through as she faced him head on. With that Molly lunged forward hoping to thrust her blade right through his chest.[/sub][/ul][/blockquote]

"This is your end, mutant."
Deadpool watched as the woman lunged forward in slow motion. He tried to dodge, but his body simply would not respond. Her sword plunged through him, and he felt pain sear through his chest. He coughed up blood, the red liquid filling his mouth with that familiar metallic taste. Now was one of the times he wished that he wasn't wearing a mask: the red fabric was soaking up the liquid and the feel of wet fabric against his face was suffocating He numbly felt his hand relax, letting go of his katana. The sword his the floor with a clang, the sound ringing in his ears. He no longer had the strength to stand. Sinking to his knees, he laughed bitterly at the woman standing over him.
"You idiot," he coughed weakly. "I won't die from a wound like this." His laughter brought on a spasm of heavy coughing. "Tis only a flesh wound," he continued in a horrible English accent.
Deadpool's vision spun, the edges going black. He struggled to keep his eyes open as the tranquilizers pulled him toward unconsciousness. He swayed, one hand reaching up slowly to pull the sword out of his chest, the other fumbling for his knife.

Kiana didn't resist as the humans restrained her, but she nearly fell again when they made her take her hand from the wall. "I won't fight you..." she said quietly. "But my sister... My twin will come for me... And she's even deadlier than I am..." She stumbled, only remaining upright with the help of the man restraining her. "You've seen what I can do... Kiara is even stronger..." Her eyes fluttered shut, but only for a moment.
"My sister will have no reservations..." Kiana warned them. "She'll do anything to rescue me..." She looked at the man who had ordered her restrained. She could tell he was protective of the woman who had run after the other mutant. "You know how sibling bonds are... The bond between twins is even stronger..." She stumbled again, once more held up by her restrainers. She didn't fight, but neither did she have the energy to do so.

As William was a ways away from Molly there was not much he could do about helping her capture the male mutant. He was also a higher ranking AMM member though, so he could order any other AMM member to do what he wanted them to do. In this case he wanted to make sure his sister was safe. His job of making sure the girl mutant was restrained first before doing anything, came before protecting his sister so he couldn't just run over to Molly and make sure she was okay. "Hey, you!" William yelled to an AMM member who was just standing around. "You see that mutant way over there? Do your job and go shoot him" William ordered the guy. He wasn't too nice about it either, but he hated having to do everything by himself and some of the AMM members could be pretty stupid as well as lazy. The guy nodded his head and took off.
The girl mutant didn't seem to be any trouble at all as she pretty much just gave up. The other AMM members put restraints on her and William ordered for them to take her away. The girl talked of a twin sister, but William was hardly paying attention. He rarely talked to the mutant as he thought it was just a waste of time. The girl then looked at William, and told him that her sister, Kiara as she had called her, would do anything to rescue her. William got an idea of what the girls powers were when she told William that he knew how a sibling bond was. He did not let it affect him and showed no emotion on his face. "Just get her the hell out of here" William said as he turned and left, wanting to see how his sister was doing.

[/b] Molly responded, inwardly flinching at her own crude words. She was a good girl. A good church-type girl who did everything that was asked of her. She always said please and thankyou. She always helped anyone she could. She cooked. She baked. She sewed. She was a good sister and daughter. Now she was a good soldier. She killed mutants to get justice for her father. She worked hard. She barely spent any of her money. She saved it. She never drank a drop of alcohol. She never smoked any cigarettes. She never touched any drugs. She was virginally pure in every way - she had never even had a first kiss yet. However, there was always some nagging feeling at the back of her mind that didn't make her feel as good. Molly always tried to ignore it and refused to examine it further. This was her life. It wasn't going to change. Not now or ever. She had to do this for her father and to be with her brother. Her brother was the only man who loved her, and boy did she love him. He was the best brother she could have ever had. Molly stepped forward and pressed her blade against the side of his throat. Unfortunately in the same second she did so, the soldier her brother had sent to help her ended up shooting her instead of the male mutant since she stepped into the bullet's path. Her eyes went wide as she gasped at the pain. Instinctively she dropped her blade and used that hand to press against the gunshot wound on her back before she collapsed to her knees. She ended up on her knees infront of the male mutant whilst her so-called team mate was panicking. After all no one ever wanted to get on her brother's bad side. All wind ceased, it even seemed that the clouds ceased to move, and as if all weather went on pause. The only things she thought of at that point was: Shit! ( despite never having said a curse word ) and Boy, this male mutant has real pretty eyes. She slumped forward, her head ending up in his lap as she ended up curled up on the floor. She had been hurt before but never a gunshot wound. Her brother was going to be mad at her for wearing her 'lighter' bullet proof armour. He had always said it was to light and thin to protect her. It was almost funny it turned out he was right. "I don't suppose I could borrow your quick healing?" Molly murmurred, closing her eyes as she flinched at the pain. [/sub][/ul][/blockquote]

Deadpool felt his heart skip a beat as the woman pressed the blade to his throat. While it was true that he had survived having his head cut off before, his blood was filled with tranquilizers. He was on the verge of collapse. The gaping wound in his chest was healing much slower than usual, and he wasn't sure if he could survive another fatal wound.
He saw the muscles in the woman's arm tense, and he closed his eyes, anticipating the searing pain that would come as her blade severed his head from his shoulders.
But the pain didn't come. Instead, a gunshot ran out, and he felt a warm liquid splatter across his face. The smell of blood flooded his nose. Opening his eyes, he watched as the woman collapsed in front of him. Her eyes met his, his shock mirrored in her emerald green depths.
What was going on? One of her own team members had shot her. It didn't make sense... It took his sluggish brain a few moments to realized that the man was probably aiming for him.
He numbly felt the woman fall gently onto his lap. Something about the way this was playing out made him remember...
"Your guys have some bad aim," he laughed weakly, trying to ignore the nagging memories in the back of his mind.
He heard her faintly say, "I don't suppose I could borrow your quick healing?" Then she closed her eyes.
Deadpool stared at the woman lying in his arms. For a moment, his mind replaced her with Vanessa. Once again, he saw her smile up at him, saw her die before his eyes.
He laughed at his own foolish sentiments. She was an enemy. He shouldn't be pitying her. And yet, he felt a strong urge to help this woman.
"Fine," he snorted, stemming the blood from his still-bleeding chest wound with one hand. "But you owe me big time, woman." Once he was sure his glove had absorbed enough blood, he pressed his hand against the wound on her back, forcing his blood into her system. It was barely any, but it was enough. He watched as the hole slowly closed up, fueled by his own healing mutation. Grinning, he swayed slighly as the blood loss and tranquilizers finally took their toll.
"Hope you don't mind being a freak temporarily," he muttered before he blacked out.
