Call me if there is any developments Laura. The voice of the Professor drifted gently through the ear piece that was placed on the ear of Laura Kinny as she held the phone in her hand, green eyes darting to and fro as she traveled down the street of the small town. She didn't have to respond to the Professor as she hung up the phone. She knew that he would expect her answer, so she had no need. A glance here and there, yet no body seemed to be very suspicious of the stranger as she continued to slowly trail down the street, sunlight beating down from above onto her skin with each passing moment. A turn of the head and she crossed the street, her steps bringing her ever closer to the towering trees of the forest, her destination.
As Laura continued to move forward, her eyes closed as she let the calming sounds of the town slowly drifted in and out of her consciousness. 'Alright X-23, time for another run......Keep moving X-23! There is no stopping!......Laura....you're name is Laura...You will kill the presidential Candidate Greg Johnson....I'm Wolverine.....Welcome to Xavier's Institute Laura. Welcome to the X-Men.' A honking of a horn suddenly brought her back to reality as she suddenly stopped in the middle of the street, glancing at the angry driver of the car beside her, nodding as she continued to move across the cement, closing the distance between her and the shade of the trees.
"Alright....where are you..." Laura murmured softly as she glanced around her, letting her senses take over as she opened her mouth slightly, inhaling deeply as she let the scents flood her. Instantly she could distinct the woodsy scents from those that were either animals or something else. And she picked up on the one that she had been sent here for in the first place without much of a hesitation. Instantly she begin to follow the unfamiliar scent, moving stealthy through the underbrush as her body moved like that of any wild cat, fluid and seemingly graceful. She had no trouble, no trouble at all as she continued to track the scent. Faintly, she could detect a small amount of blood within the one that she was already tracking and began to become slightly worried. 'I hope that this mutant is not fatally injured.'
As Laura came to a small clearing, she froze. There, she could see the young girl, wounded, lying in the middle of the clearing. She wasn't sure if she should approach the young mutant or if she should just stay hidden. If anything, they weren't really sure what this girl would do if she tried to approach. But as she crouched there still, there was a rustling in the bushes, and out stepped a few men, all wearing black suits. Instantly Laura tensed, a dense growl escaping her throat as her mouth curled into a snarl.
These men reminded her of that place, of the Facility, a place that she had worked long and hard to put at the back of her mind. She couldn't help but clench her fists in anger as she continued to crouch there, and as the men continued to advance on the young girl, she heard their voices, speaking in an almost comforting tone to the girl, but she could hear through their act. Lycan....there is no need to run from us. You belong to us remember? At that, another growl escaped her lips, and once again her body tensed, her arms falling to her sides as the claws gently slipped out from her skin, gently grazing the grass as she watched the men turn at the sound of the growl, some reaching for weapons at their sides. "You will all die..." A whisper as she prepared to spring forward.

Faith ran through the woods, her upper arm bleeding a bit heavily from where a bullet hit her. She knew she was going to take a few minutes to heal this time. The sun beat down gently upon her back as she dodged in and out of the flora, and soon she ran into a clearing. She began to wonder how they found her, as she was sure she was careful to keep her trail hidden from them. There was no way for them to be able to zero in on her location this quickly, unless… Her eyes got wide as the thought entered her mind. They had plenty of opportunity to do it, and she wondered when they actually did it. Was it before her first solo assassination? When she was a child? Or could they have done it immediately after she was born?
She wasn’t too sure, but she was certain that they had somehow implanted a tracking device into her. It was only logical since the time her father had escaped, and then his surviving clone. If she was in their position, she would want to keep track of her as well. Thing is that she didn’t know what this tracking device would look like or how big it was, so she couldn’t rip it out of her and crush it. She paused in the middle of the clearing as these thoughts entered her head, and before she knew it another whistling sound came at her. Another bullet hit her, this time in her shoulder blade, momentarily making her left arm useless. She fell to her knees in pain, and grunted in pain. Her lips curling back to reveal her wolf-like fangs, and then this time a strong electrical current took hold of her. She shook violently as the charge moved throughout her body for a few brief seconds, and she collapsed onto the ground.
Faith was momentarily stun, but her senses recovered rather quickly. Her survival instincts kicked into gear, and her nose moved as she sniffed the air. She picked up their scents as the approached about the same time her hearing told her they had broken the tree line. She heard growling from behind the tree line, and she sniffed the air again. The scent was different, as memories of her tracking training came to her. The scent was very much like her father’s, but had an estrogen overtone to it. She wondered briefly if the owner was the clone that had escaped, but that was cut short as one of the men called her by her codename telling her without really coming out and saying it, that she was going with them back to the Facility. She heard the growl again, and waited until they turned their attention to the owner’s direction.
She pushed herself up to her feet just in time to see a woman rush at the men with claws out of her hands. Just two. X-23. She had seen pictures of the clone as knowing more about those she was imagined after would perhaps make the young feral mutant want to destroy both her father and his clone for leaving her in that horrid place. Of course that program had failed. X-23’s promise of them all dying, had distracted them long enough for her to growl. She snarled, pulling back her lips far enough to show off her fangs once more. She jumped on the nearest soldier to her, and sank her fang into his neck. She violently reared her head backwards, bringing a good chunk of his flesh with her teeth.
Blood spurted everywhere, but she had gotten a good bloodbath out of it. Faith then turned her head and spat out the flesh that she had tore off, and then turned to face the next man. Her first bullet wound had just finished healing, and her second was nearly done. At least she had regained some movement of her arm. Her second target raised his weapon, and aimed at her. She growled again, and with her training knocked the rifle out of his hand and sent it flying into the air. ”I am never going back with you!” She shouted as she sprung for his throat with her fangs. She was ready to kill them all…

As soon as their attention had turned she was up. It seemed as if the world's time around her had turned to slow motion. Claws dragging slightly across the ground, Laura turned and flipped in the air, sailing over one of the men, slicing the skin on his throat as she passed over to him. He fell dead, and as she turned to face another, hair whipping around her, she let out another fierce snarl, her canines now showing as she bared her teeth at the men.
"Stay back!" Laura yelled at them, swinging her claws as they sliced through thin air, forcing the men that had been advancing on her back. She turned her green eyes for a moment, eyes resting on the girl just behind her, and a quick sniff told her otherwise: this one was different, but she smelled of the Facility, faintly. The gaze lasted a mere minute before she turned just in time to see one of the men trying to knock her out with a hit to the head from his gun. She ducked and kicked her legs, falling to the ground in the process but making the man fall as well.
"I warned you." She hissed as her claws sunk into his chest. Slowly she pulled her hand away, the small sickening sound of her claws sliding out of his body barely audible among the ruckus around them. It's really her....X-23... The whisper traveled among the men as she turned to face them all, hatred clear in her eyes. One of the men near the tree line spoke into a walkie, and after a nodded, yelled an order to the others. Change of plans men! We're taking both Lycan and X-23 with us. Instantly the men began to shift, some in excitement, others in nervousness as they glanced at the two feral girls that still faced them. Well? What are you waiting for? Subdue them!
They surged forward as one towards the two, and with a smirk on her face, Laura leaped to me them. She landed on the back of one, gripping his shoulders as she positioned her feet so that her toes were pointing straight towards his back. There was a slicing sound, and the man tensed and fell dead as she jumped off of his once more, the claws in her feet slowly sliding back in as she turned to another man, no mercy in her as her claws ripped open his chest.
"You can't have me, and if you're trying to bring her to that place, you can't have her either!" Laura hissed through her clenched teeth, darting forward once again. Another man was felled, but as she turned, she cried out in pain, the gunshot slicing through the air as she fell to her knee. Another one, a wince, her hands darting out to keep herself from falling all the way. You will come back with us X-23. You may have escaped us once, but after a bit of reprogramming, you will be good as new. The man stood just above her, and she could feel the gun's heat not far from her skin, could sense the tense of muscles as he prepared to shoot again.
"No...never again!" She yelled out as she suddenly brought her hand up once again, knocking the gun from his hand and cutting the flesh on his hand open in one stroke. The man cried out in pain as he backed away, clutching his wounded hand in his good one as he watched her rise. Already the first wound had almost closed, her body working to rebuild the damaged cells at a superhuman rate. She advanced on him, blood trailing down the metal of her claws, and as she reached him, she quickly finished the job, turning to the others around her with a roar. "Try it! Try to take me back!"

Faith couldn’t afford to keep an eye on X-23, as she had her own set of problems at the moment. Such as keeping herself out of their hands, and she couldn’t help herself but smirk when she noticed the fear in the man’s eyes as she lunged toward him. Her fangs bared, and she felt the exhilaration of a hunt as the man who had just attempted to shoot her turn tail and started to run. The feeling scared her a bit, but of course that is what they wanted from her. She sprung forward and tackled her prey that attempted to escape her, her laugh maddeningly when she was enjoying herself on a ‘hunt and kill’ trip. She sniffed the air, fear hung heavily around her, and everything else happening seemed to be in a different world than her and her close kill. She had finally decided to tell them how serious she was about staying free, and began to brutally pumpel the guy beneath her with her fists after ripping off his helmet.
Soon his face was unrecognizable, and he was barely alive. His heart was barely beating, and with a well placed strike she hit his chest ceasing the beat all together. She lifted her head and snapped it around when a communication on the radio told her that they were now ordered to take her and X-23 back. Her training kicked in once more, and she got off of the dead man before rushing toward where the communications were centered. She needed to cut them off before they called for back up and help. She reached them, snapped the unit commander’s neck, took his side arm off of him, and shot the radio beyond repair before shooting whoever else had stayed back from the fight.
Faith quickly armed herself more, by picking up the numerous firearms that littered around her and the now dead bodies. She then turned toward the clone and the men that had escaped her vengence, one of the rifles lifted up and aimed at the soldiers. ”What part of ‘We are not going back’ do you not understand?!” She snarled in a shout at them, and watched as they suddenly broken into two groups. They had no chance against them, she was of course on the verge of losing all human thoughts and slipping into a feral state. So she was actually enjoying this killing, and what part of her that hasn’t fallen into that path was scared of it. Part of her was daring them to advance on her, and part of her was screaming at them to run.
She snarled and growled a warning at them to take common sense and retreat. But did they listen? No. Instead they slowly advanced on her like she was some wounded, wild animal. Which of course wasn’t far from the truth. She watched as they spread out, and attempted to encircle her. Her finger squeezed the trigger, cutting down a few of them before those that had managed to get behind her jumped on her. She dropped her weapon, and then switched to hand-to-hand. Her feet snapped out and broke one knee, causing the owner to fall, and the swiped the other’s out from under him. She gave a palm-heel strike of her palm to the third’s family jewels, causing him to grip them and fall face first on his face to the ground. Her need to kill rose in her again, and she broke the second guy’s neck as soon as he got back up to his feet. She shot the first one in the head, and she tore the third’s throat open with her fangs. She was covered from head to toe in their blood, and she was enjoying it immensely.
Faith felt so much at ease at what she was currently doing, that what little humanity she had left was scared beyond normal boundaries. She then turned to the few that was left of the group that was currently trying to surround X-23, and she sprinted toward them with a battle cry. She jumped on one of their backs, and proceeded to rip their throat out with her fangs. The man was waving his arms at her, demanding the others to get her off. But they were too late. She reared her head back, bringing one good chunk of flesh with her. His blood gushed out of the newly made wound, bathing her once more in blood. She spit out the piece of flesh, just as a butt of a rifle headed toward her temple in an attempt to knock her out. She ducked the incoming blow and sank her fangs into the soldier’s thigh instead. She took out another chunk of flesh…

Laura tracked each and every one of Faith's movement with a trained eye, surprised by the ferocity that was held within the young girl. 'She moves like...' The thought hung in her mind, clear as a bell, but she didn't have the time to stop and wait, to ponder over the moment, for they came at her once again. A feral cry ripped from her throat and she turned on them, slicing through one man like butter and then sending a kick to another man's gut, a kick so hard that she could hear the bones cracking. Not that it mattered to her at the moment.
As soon as she turned, more had come, surrounding her in an attempt to overpower her, but Laura knew better. She growled at all of them, baring her teeth in a silent snarl as she dared them to come closer, eyes flashing in hate as her fists became just a bit tighter, skin straining slightly as the metal gleamed slightly in the light of the sun. They were tentative, reluctant as they watched her. They were smart to be so. As the small circle continued to slowly converge on her, the sound of the battle outside their little piece of the universe, distracting the men long enough for her to spring forward once more, instantly slicing through to men without a second thought.
"I know that you didn't wish for any sort of violence Professor, but there is no way this could have been avoided." Laura murmured softly under her breath as she turned just in time to see Faith jumping another one of the men without a moments hesitation, sinking her teeth into the flesh of his calf as the man screamed in fear. She smirked slightly, the tip of a canine showing slightly as she watched the scene unfold. Soon though, she could tell that the girl was losing herself in the feeling of the battle, in the feelings of the kill, and she knew it had to stop.
As Faith continued to concentrate on the man whose teeth she still had her teeth in, Laura turned on those that still remained with red coloring her vision. She knew that her instincts were taking over as she turned on the last few remaining men, causing them to flinch as her claws struck out, cutting down the last remaining men without much of a sweat, her vision clearing away as she slowly straightened her stance, wiping the blood off of her claws on the grass before retracting them slowly.
Turning, she watched as Faith finished off the man that she had been holding, and Laura could see it in the girl's eyes that she was so far gone in her instincts that she couldn't tell right from wrong anymore. Laura was over by Faith in an instant. "Child, listen to me. There is no need for you to enjoy these feelings. You're losing yourself to your instincts, becoming what they want you to be. You're becoming what they wanted me to be. They only want you to have this endless need to kill, this endless need for violence. Don't let that happen, forget that side of yourself, just for now." Laura said calmly as she placed her hand on the feral girl's shoulder, no fear within her as she stood there.

Faith was so engrossed in her animalistic instincts, that she barely had noticed what was going on outside her and her target. She sprang up from behind him and took a strangle hold around his neck. She listened with a malicious grin on her face as he struggled to call out for help. A tiny voice in the back of her mind was urging her to snap his neck, keep him from chasing after her, to keep her from going back to the facility. The voice taunted her, encouraged her, to end his life. It continue to whisper that if she didn’t, she would go back and become a lab rat, an experiment, again. She snarled at the voice in an effort to get it to shut up, she knew that the voice was of course her animal side trying to get her to give up all her humanity and kill for the pure pleasure of it. She of course bared her teeth, and snarled at the man in her arms to shut up. She finally let him go, in a last ditch effort to show him that she wasn’t going to be the animal and experiment that they wanted her to be.
Instead of taking the hint, the soldier reached for his side arm and pointed it at her. She knew what was going to happen, and she only thought that it was either him or her. Her past and experiences flooded back into the forefront of her mind, and she growled at him loudly enough to grab anyone’s attention within earshot. She was always going to choose herself over anyone else. She leaped forward, and knocked the sidearm out of his hand with ease. She snarled her displeasure at him for wanting to die, she was suddenly on him pinning him to the ground. ”I gave you a chance to run, but did you take it? No! You insisted upon this! You pushed me to this! And now it might just be too late for you to run!” She snarled and growled into his face as she slowly but expertly twisted his shooting arm until she heard the bones break multiple times. She didn’t even stop there, and she continued to twist the arm until it looked like it was no longer firmly attached to his shoulder.
Faith then blocked the other one as it came at her in a vain effort to knock her off of him, and she sneered at the soldier showing her animalistic nature. She gave that arm the same treatment as it’s twin. The kicking from the man’s feet barely bothered her, but she got up anyway and brought her foot down on both of his knees hard. She heard more cracking of bone, effectively immobilizing him. Then she heard him screaming out in pain as he tried to get away from her, and memories of the time she had tried to the same came forward. They didn’t want her to scream or retreat, but to stay there and take the pain silently. She felt a rush of anger suddenly rise in her, and before she knew what she had done she stepped on the man’s neck. She killed him, and the voice in the back of her mind was praising her for it. She looked disgusted as she realized what she had done.
"Child, listen to me. There is no need for you to enjoy these feelings. You're losing yourself to your instincts, becoming what they want you to be. You're becoming what they wanted me to be. They only want you to have this endless need to kill, this endless need for violence. Don't let that happen, forget that side of yourself, just for now."
She felt someone stand near her, and her reaction was to reach up and grab the hand that was on her shoulder. She was in mid movement to throw the person over her should onto their back, until she sniffed the air. She pushed aside the blood scents that now covered the area, and found the one other scent that she had recognized at first before the whole bloodbath. Instead of flipping X-23 over onto her back, she swallowed her instincts and pushed that voice back to where it lived. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. ”They pushed me. They wouldn’t leave me alone…” She answered quietly before looking around, knowing that if they stayed much longer they would have more company to deal with. ”We should go. More would be coming as backup.” She added, knowing that X-23 would know she spoke the truth.

Laura watched as the girl slowly calmed down, and from what she knew from personal experiences, she knew that Faith must be feeling afraid, that she must be feeling so disconnected from the world itself at the moment. Slowly she knelt down beside Faith, her hand still on her shoulder as she began to comfort the girl. "They pushed you because they knew how you would react. To them, all they ever do is just an experiment, something that must be tested for results." She said softly.
Her hand still on Faith's shoulder, Laura slowly rose to her feet once more, bringing the girl up with her. She knew that Faith was right, knew that the back up would come in a matter of minutes, and that they had to get out. Glancing around at the massacre scene that had only minutes before never existed, she tilted her head slightly as she heard the sound of man and dog in the distance, coming quicker that should have been normal.
"They're coming." Laura said, turning her head to the direction of the sounds, narrowing her eyes slightly as she did, knowing that they would close in soon. Pulling Faith with her, she began to run, dashing for the treeline with an unnatural speed, with the speed that she had been trained with for so many years. Her instincts from her time at the lab began to come back to her as she remembered all those days where she was forced into those survival missions, where she had been forced to fight and live on her own for weeks, sometimes even months in the wilderness. But this, what was happening right now, was nothing, a piece of cake.
"Come on, I'll take you somewhere safe, a place that won't harbor you or try to control. It's a place for people like us." Laura said as she threw a soft smile over her shoulder at Faith, a rare thing for her. A twitch of her head and she could hear them near the clearing, knowing that they would find the massacre soon enough. But Laura knew that she had to get Faith to the Professor, for her own safety. She wasn't about to let this girl go back to a place like that.

Faith resisted the urge that suddenly rose in her to turn and bury her face into the offered softness that she could tell in the voice that told her why they pushed her. She knew that, but having someone else tell her that took a different turn in her mind. She had somehow connected the softness in X-23’s voice to someone who actually cared about her. She mentally paused at the realization, and stared at her father’s clone. Did someone actually care about her? See her as something other than an experiment? Did she really dare to hope that was true? She didn’t get to think too far on that train of thought, as X-23 got up to her feet and brought her with her. Her hearing and nose picked up more troops and government scent, at the same time as she did. She tensed, prepared herself for another fight. Both physically and mentally. They would never let either one of them go, not as long as that sect existed.
She heard her say they are coming and she involuntarily growled a warning for them to stay away. Instead of staying and fighting the much larger group of soldier, she was being pulled along further into the trees and forest. She had no trouble keeping up with the woman, as she remembered times when they let her loose in a large confined area with vicious dogs chasing her. She had to keep out of their powerful jaws for a predetermined amount of time, and if she got caught she was severely beaten until she learned the lesson for escaping. Her hearing picked up a stream in the distance, and knew that they had to get to the water. The dogs that were currently after them wouldn’t be able to track them with their scents washed away. She growled when the sounds of their potential pursuers reached the clearing riddled with dead and broken bodies. She hated them with a passion, and given a slight chance she would slaughter them all.
”Come on, I’ll take you somewhere safe, a place that wont’ harbor you or try to control. It’s a place for people like us.”
Faith looked up at her, giving back a rare smile of her own. She had no idea why she was being nice to her, helping her. Everything that she was told about her father’s clone seemed to be doubted at that time. She was told that X-23 was a ruthless, emotionless killing machine. ”A place like that exists? You mean there are people out there that doesn’t want to use me or experiment on me?” She asked as she continued to run with X-23, of whom she was starting to like just because it seemed that the lady was being nice to her.

With each step, each beat of her heart, Laura could feel her pace quickening. She knew the risks of putting no less effort into this than before. If they stopped now, there was no telling what would happen. She paused for only a second as she heard it, the soft trickle of the stream, and after a glance at Faith, she was off again, her feet moving quick and silent over the damp ground.
"Yes. This place is one that will protect from the humans that want to do bad things to us, that want to use us like these humans do. You'll feel safe there. Trust me. I did, and I still do." Laura said as she continued to dash in between the trees, barely throwing a glance behind her every now and then as she heard the sounds of there pursers fade in and out over and over again. 'They're tracking us faster than I thought...' She thought to herself in a moment of panic, but it was gone before she could let it control her.
Soon they moved to the stream, the small trickle calming among the current tension of the situation. Laura tore across the stream, glancing behind her to double check that Faith was still there with her, keeping good pace as she reached the other shore. "Come on. I won't let them take you back to that place." Laura said as she gently shoved the girl back into the tree line, soon following after her without much hesitation.
Right as Laura began to dash after her once more, there was a clang sound as a shot rang out. She ducked slightly, jumping for the trees as she glanced behind her. A few men slowly came out of the trees, guns raised as they advanced. "Damn it....I didn't plan on them sending any scouts ahead..." Laura cursed softly to herself as she ducked behind a tree, another shot ricocheting off of a tree with dangerous speed. Glancing over at Faith, she made a motion for the girl to move. "Go! Go to the States, find Xavier's School for the Gifted. That's where you belong." She said urgently as she glanced behind the tree again, ducking just in time as another shot was fired.

Faith continued to follow X-23 through the trees, ducking under low hanging branches. She was not going back to that place, ever. Not if she had a choice in the matter. Of course there was certain expectations, just like every rule had at least one. And right now one was forming between her and X-23. She knew that if her father’s clone was ever taken back, she wouldn’t think twice before going in there doing exactly like she had imagined her father doing for her as a young experiment. She would kill them all if they took the woman before her. There was no doubt in her mind about that. She wasn’t sure if anyone would do the same for her though, she was just an experiment that got tired of being pushed around and killing innocent, good people.
She paused just long enough to listen to X-23 tell her more about the place she asked. About how she’ll be safe, and to trust her. She knew she could as the two of them had been born and raised into a similar situation, and she wondered briefly that was the reason that her father’s clone was being nice around her. She pushed that thought away, as she knew that no one knew who she was. Well save for the people that made her exist. Her father doesn’t know about her, and certainly not X-23. To her, she was just some strange mutant with wolf like fangs, enhanced senses, and a healing factor like her father’s and X-23’s. She was a nobody, and she suddenly found that bothered her a bit. She tightened her jaw to push back the emotions that she was groomed to not feel.
Faith let X-23 push her into the trees as soon as they cleared the stream. She turned to face the lady when she heard her say that she wasn’t going to let them take her back. Before X-23 could follow her, a shot rang out and her training and instincts kicked in as she ducked for cover behind a tree. They were of course slightly pinned down, and her eyesight sought out the woman that was being nice to her. Her mind quickly going over the possibilities of the outcomes of what she could do. She could backtrack to help X-23 get away, but then that posed a possibility of her getting shot and caught. She could attack the scouts, but then the same outcome would happen. Her last choice was to run, and hope that her father’s clone would be able to make it too.
”Go! Go to the States, find Xavier’s School for the Gifted. That’s where you belong.”
She bit her bottom lip, her mind torn between helping her escape and doing as she demanded she do. It was logical for her to run, as it provided the best optimal outcome for her. However it wouldn’t look very good for her, she could perhaps do as she was told and then find her with some help. Or she could go back alone, and rescue her. ”But you will get caught and taken! I don’t want to have to worry if you are fine or not! Not for me!” She shouted at her, ducking as another shot rang out. She swore it nearly made a new hole in her cranium.

"Look, I'll be fine. If they do catch me, I'll deal with it. I've been there too, remember? Just go! And when you do get there, you might want to talk to a guy named Wolverine." Was all Laura got out before another shot was fired. Before Faith could protest again, she jumped forward, grabbing the girl by her shoulder and shoving her forward, away from the scouts that had appeared, away from the danger.
"Go! And remember: Xavier's School for the Gifted." With that, Laura turned away again, claws slowly sliding out from beneath her skin once more as she turned, growling at the oncoming men with a fierce look in her eyes. She burst from the tree line without much of a glance behind her to see if Faith had listened to her or not, charging at the men with a feral roar of sorts. They shied away for a moment, but then remembering the weapons in their hands, they fired on the charging woman, though not with bullets.
Darts sailed through the air as Laura charged them, and even though one or two of them hit her, they didn't seem to have any permanent effect on her as she sunk her claws deep into the chest of one man. Another dart hit her, but it was her body that wasn't reacting yet, purging the drug from her system before it could have a quick effect. That didn't mean it could last forever though.
As soon as that man was down, the others began to fire at her again as she moved towards them, teeth bared in a silent snarl as she challenged them to try her, but they didn't even move towards her, they just raised their guns to her, firing once again. Soon, there was more than just a few darts that had pierced her skin.
Laura stopped just short of where the men were, stumbling slightly as her claws sliding back into her skin, disappearing as she slowly fell to her knees from the mass amount of the drug in her system. As she fell onto her side, she mouthed 'run' as if making one last attempt at warning the girl who she knew had probably stayed hidden, watching, before her eyes slowly slipped close into unconsciousness.

Faith didn’t want to leave her, but she didn’t want to leave her. When X-23 told her that she’ll be fine and that she was there too, she didn’t know that she knew she was there. She then instructed her to find a guy named Wolverine when she got to the school. She paused briefly at that thought, not sure if that was such a good idea. Her father might not want her around, not if what she had heard about him were true. She had heard he hated a lot of things, kids among them, and what was she? A kid, who had been raised to kill and be fierce. She doubled that he would like her around, but if it meant that she had to talk to him just to tell him that she was going after them and retrieving X-23, then so be it.
She watched as her father’s clone attempted to take on the back up alone, to give her a chance to escape. As she went down, she knew that the lady was not going to get away. ”I’ll come and get you, X-23. If it is the last thing I ever do.” She said loud enough to where the clone can hear her, and then watched as she mouthed run to her. She ignored the urge to rush out there and single handedly slaughter them all, knowing that whatever drug they had in those darts would affect her as well if they got enough into her system. So she did the only sane thing, she turned around and ran. She had to find this school, and then her father…
