Well it's been a long night, but it looks like they made it. It was still really early in the morning. The sun was still asleep, as were most of the people in this little place. Originally they would have been here mid morning, but Tatiana kept having second thoughts and needed to be re spoken with. It took a while but here they stood out side two very large gates. There were still a good distance away from the wonderful gates, but Tatiana just did not want to move more. Honestly she was scared. But she knew such an emotion should be hidden. She could never be scared. No not her. She has worked so hard in showing Gambit that she was a big girl, that she was fearless, that she was alright. But here.. this little school could stop her cold. What was wrong with her.
"It's late... maybe we should just come back later... when everyone wakes up." Tatiana said stalling the best she could. It was still cold out, so she was shivering slightly from standing still for so long. But she did not mind. Best out here then in there. The place did not look very inviting to her. Her soft baby blue sun dress, clung to her body, a light white jacket hung over her shoulders. She carried nothing, for she did not own anything really. Just a few dresses which was in a little backpack that Remy refused to let her carry, not that it was heavy. But that was just how he was she figured. Maybe it was the long journey.... or maybe he was just being weird. But he held it alright.
Stand looking at the gates Tatiana shook her head. "Yeah... we really should go." She said turning on her heels, her matching flats scraped the ground softly. Yeah she was ready to run. But again no fear, she could not show such fear, so she would walk.... slowly. She took a step, then another, and another in the opposite direction. Anyone could see in her face how she wanted to run away and hide. Run and just be in the streets where she belonged. No one in their right mind would want to live in such a place... It was just so..proper looking. This place was not her.
Once long ago when she was just a little child, she might have dreamed of a life, of something like this. But they were long since gone. Her life with Gambit was how she wanted to live. Sure it was not ideal, but it was how she liked it. It was her life, and no one could take that away... Well apparently she was wrong. Gambit had told her she must come here. She said she would too. But she never really was going to go through with it. It was just a way to stop them from fighting. She lied, that's what she did. That's what he taught her to do.
But here they were in front of the large gates. Gambit by her side, waiting to throw her over the the human loving freaks. Yes freaks. They were freaks. They had to be, to live like this... like humans. She was not sure, but she figured the homes around her were filled with humans... Humans she would rob. But still humans. She never wanted to be so close to them. God their stink might rub off on her, then Gambit would never let her near him again. The though made her shiver slightly as she walked away from the place. No no no, she did not want to go. It was not her. She may look like she belonged in such a place, but honestly she loved the streets. She loved being cold and hungry, okay so she hated that part, but she loved getting what she needed, providing for herself, for Gambit. How could she do that here? How could she watch over him, when she was stuck behind the iron wall? Once she was let in that was it. She'd be stuck.

Remy stared at the place for a while, almost toning her out, though in the back of his mind he could hear every word she said. Basically feel every feeling she was at this very moment and it was a mirror image of his own thoughts and feelings. Who would want to be here? Especially after living the awesome life they had been given, to come and go as they pleased, do whatever they wanted, take whatever they wanted.. Here she might not be permitted to do any of those things, in fact it was certain she wouldn't. Even though she would do it all anyway.
"It ain't gon' be so bad" he said feeling the lie on his lips. It was going to be hell. He didn't even want to be near here, let alone in there and here he was going to send her in there... But it was for her own good. He couldn't help her, and he was sure these people could.. And if they couldn't well.. He'd make their lives hell for even putting them through his much.
Remy grabbed her shoulder holding her in place. Keeping his eyes on the gates as he spoke "we had a deal.." he mumbled finally looking towards her "Ah can't help ya, like they can"

His words reached her ears but she did not hear them for what they were, she herd the lie. Yes she herd each word forced through his teeth like a lie, she knew it was such a thing. She knew him well enough to know when he was not being truthful. Of course he was more skilled in it then she was, so he tricked her a few times, but this was not one of thous times. She just shook her head, and took another little step, so ready to run, run as fast as she could. Even know she knew she could not get to far, he'd catch her. Sure she was fast, she did not think he was faster, but he tended to let her win at things. So she really had no idea. But still he had other things he could use to bring her back. Anyway she'd be lost on her own, so she'd come back soon enough.
But she felt a hand on her shoulder, preventing her from taking one more step. She shook her head. She really did not want to go. Her back was still turned to the place. "I don't like it... I don't want to go in there." She said looking at his hand on her shoulder. She wanted so badly to hug him, and cry, for she knew she was going in those gates one way or another. She knew they had a deal, she knew she had to go for her own good. But she did not want to. She was just being difficult now. But still she just, she just did not want to go. As much as she wanted to hug him, it just was not very acceptable thing to do. He had a tough kind of love going on, and she was not one to enjoy touch, for it brought pain usually. But right now she wanted to be a baby again and cry and scream and just be hugged. But no, she knew she'd get kicked for such child like things.
But still the urge was there, right along side to run like hell. "What if they hurt me." She asked with a bit of a shrug, not sure. They could do it. She was used to being gifted among humans, and not gifted as in her power, but gifted as in her fighting ability. But here the people here could have ability that could hurt her. If their gifts were any thing like Gambit's she'd hide under her bed. That was scary enough to see it done, but to live it was whole different story. She could not help another shiver. She knew she was being a baby, but she had to get it all out now. "What if I don't make friends... What if everyone hates me..." She asked, not really caring for the answer. She hated everyone inside anyway, and she had Gambit he was the only friend she needed. It was just another way to stall them from going closer to the gates. She was not sure what would happen once they reached them, but she honestly did not want to find out.
"But really... What if they hate me because I'm not like them." She asked, a legit concern really. She did not want to be a target for such people. She knew that she could fight most anyone off in a fist fight, but when you added in extra crap she'd surly lose. Her gift was little help to her. Sure she could see if she'd kill them right then and there, but that's all it was good for, to see if she'd win. But if they were not destined to die in the fight, she'd have no idea of the outcome. But really. Gambit would be outside he walls. She could call for him to help, but they must lock them at some point. He'd never get to her in time if they revolted against her. Sure she could lie and pretend to be like them... But she did not see the point in that. Why would she put on such a face for these creatures.... God...she just did not want to go.

He just stared at her as she spoke. He had seen her do all this before, but this time was different. Usually when she started things like this it was to trick people into feeling bad for her so they could steal something. But this time she was serious and it was almost scary to him. A huge part of him wanted to just go home, with her in tow of course. But he did everything he could to ignore that part. This was for the best, she needed this way more than either one would admit.
He tried hard to think of something to make it better but no promise of awesome heists or anything would make this better. Not even promising to help her burn the place down if they did a single thing wrong wouldn't help much he was sure. Though, at the moment it sounded like a load more fun than this.
Being nice wasn't getting him anywhere... "Ya gon' go!" He said finally hating sounding the way he did. Sure he was a hardass but he couldn't stand being one towards her.. But this was just one of those times... "Don' mind what those otha' people say. Ya know ya could kick their asses a million times ova"

The sharpness in his voice, took her by surprise. This was a straight command. This was not asking, there was no choice in the matter, she was going to walk in that gate, and he was not going with her. That was what he just said. She was going to go or he'd toss her in there himself. Her mouth fell open for a moment. Wow... this was really happening. This was straight going down. He was taking away the best part of their life. Freedom. He was taking away her choice, he was making her do something. The very thing she protested really. She had a right to choice her own life.... but apparently not today. She was going to walk in the gates with out him. That was it. That was done. She could hear it in his voice.
She just kinda stood there for a moment. Not sure how to react to such a... scolding. It was very... out of the ordinary for such a thing to come from his mouth. Usually it was do as you wish, or don't get hurt or something like that. It was never a direct order. She guess she knew this day would come. It kinda hurt. And it made her mad. Mad that he would do such a thing to her. Take away her choice. Sure she was going to walk in there, but she was going to take her good old time... which god only knows how long it would take... but she would have done it to make him happy....but now... it was... just different.
"Noooooo!!" She yelled a lot louder then she originally meant to. "I cant!" She yelled again pulling from his hand that held her shoulder. She ripped herself from his grip and off she ran, away from the ginormous place, away from the only person she knew, away from...everything really. Here goes the child in her breaking free of her trying to be all adult like. Sometimes the kid just takes hold, and that's that. There was nothing to do about it besides make her see reason or let it pass.

Why Wolverine was up so early in the morning, he was not sure. He had been sleeping soundly (or at least he thought he was) when he just woke up suddenly. Once he woke up, sat up in bed, and looked around for about a minute, he laid back down and closed his eyes to fall back asleep. His eyes weren’t even closed for a couple seconds when he was interrupted by his stomach growling. He growled right back at it and kept his eyes closed trying to fall back asleep. His stomach growled again. Wolverine growled louder and sat up in his bed again. “How the hell do you expect me to sleep with all that noise?!” he yelled at his stomach. He then growled and forced himself to get out of bed. He decided to take a walk to the kitchen, find something to eat, and stuff the food in his face while walking back to his room. He did not feel like being up so early, and was not happy with his stomach. Wolverine didn’t bother changing his clothes; he wore a pair of jeans and a beater so at least he wasn’t naked. He didn’t even bother throwing on some shoes. He was not planning to be up for very long.
Wolverine poked his head out of his room to see if anyone was around, but he didn’t expect anyone to be around, but then again with the manor a person never really knew what to expect. Not seeing anyone around, Wolverine began walking down the hallway. He didn’t care if anyone saw him; he just didn’t want anyone bugging him. He was too tired, and obviously too hungry, to deal with anyone. But just in case he put a scowl on his face. He figured if someone saw him they would simply turn the other way. That’s how he liked it. As Wolverine walked some more his stomach continued growling. He growled right back at it, not that it did any good. Soon he came to the kitchen, and he poked his head inside to see if there was anyone there. When he didn’t see anyone he barged in and headed towards the fridge. He opened the door and looked around. As usual there didn’t seem to be much food, but he did find a piece of chicken. There was usually plenty of chicken in the fridge as it was cheap and easy to cook. He grabbed the piece of chicken and walked out of the kitchen.
Wolverine had been headed back towards his room when he heard something. At least he thought he heard something. It had sounded like voices, but Wolverine couldn’t figure out where they had been coming from. He chose to ignore it, thinking it was some students trying to cause trouble. He was in no mood to deal with any students. He continued hearing the voices and they seemed to be getter louder. His curiosity got the best of him as he walked further down the hall. He passed his room and continued walking. The voices seemed to be getting even louder, and soon he realized that it was someone outside that he was hearing. He was about to turn around and head towards his room, when he heard someone yell. Wolverine ran out of the manor, still holding onto his chicken, and headed towards where he thought the voices were coming from. With his enhanced hearing he was able to hear the voices even though he was inside, but he figured since it was quiet in the manor (for once), he was able to hear better. He got near the main gates when he heard someone yell again. Once he got close he decided to do some yelling of his own to try and figure out what was going on. “What the hell is going on here?!” Wolverine yelled as he stormed up to the gates to get a better look at the people. He saw a kid running off, and a man standing there.
Wolverine didn’t even take the time to think. He tossed his chicken on the ground, and leaped up onto the gate, grabbing a hold of the bars and pulling himself up it. He didn’t make it a habit of jumping over the gate, but it seemed much easier than to try and actually open the damn thing. Once Wolverine was at the top he pushed himself down, and aimed right at the man. Wolverine was the ‘Fight first ask questions later’ type of guy. He knew two things. One, a kid was running away from the man, and two, the man was standing there. Wolverine was sure the man was up to no good and Wolverine was certainly going to stop him.

Remy winced at her yelling, it was such an annoying sound. Justified of course but annoyed when aimed at him. He'd much rather someone get yelled at than him, at least then they could go home with that poor victims items and money. This was just insane. He hated being stern with her but she needed this no matter what. He was about to try to stop her from yelling but she took off.
He took a single step, intended to chase her down and either throw her over the gate or try to reason with her... He wasn't quite sure what road to take with her now, all he knew was she was gone and he needed to find her quick before things got any worse.
He was half way to his second step when a voice caught his ears. He looked towards the gate grunting a little. Great, someone heard and decided to stick their nose into their business. This was just perfect icing on the already beautiful cake of life.
Gambit hopped out of the man's way attempting to avoid any and all contact this man might want to be making. "it ain't anything thas' gon' be concerin' you" Gambit said through gritted teeth. This guy was only slowing him down... This guy... Who.. looked oddly familiar.. He gave Gambit a sick feeling, one he couldn't wait to get away from
"A small misunderstandin' we don' want two of 'em now do we?" He asked a hand in his pocket, gently toying with the cards, ready to defend himself at any and all cost.

But off she ran. She did not get that far at all, when she herd the gate rattle. It spooked her, but she kept going. Though the voice of Gambit reached her ear's, he was clearly not talking to her...which worried her greatly. She messed something up...yet again. Oh man, when was she going to get her act together. Maybe she did need this school. It was school, they must teach some kind of...manors? Is that what she was looking for? No... that was not the right world... life skills maybe? She was looking to be taught not to mess up anymore. Which she often does. But Gambit always told her what's the fun in life if you don't get your hands dirty. So she figured messing up was just all part of that fun.
Tatiana slowed her running, to a walk really. She let her head turn, but she was too far away to see well..anything. So she tilted her head, and turned around searching for any sign of movement or anything of the sort. Not sure how to go about this, she moved off to a bush in one of the homes near by. Still she could not hear too much. Maybe Gambit's faint voice, but she was too far to make much out. Man she really must have booked it outta there.
Creeping her way back, she made sure to stick to the bushes, so she would not be seen. She kept low, small, moving slowly to blend in. Even know she worse brighter colors, she was a great hider. You kind of had to be. If the cops were after you, you had to hide or get dragged off to the police station. That was never ever fun! In fact it sucked, seeing as she often ended up passing out, waking in a hospital, then she'd run from there, or Gambit would find a way to help her out. But still, she learned to live by hiding. So she was pretty dang good at it.
She made her way back, dashing from one bush to the other, keeping an ear and an eye out for anything. Yes she ran, but by golly, she was NOT going to let Gambit get hurt. Sure he could handle himself, she knew that, but she still worried about him. Anyway if he did get hurt, she'd just have to cry her special tears... how ever the hell she can do that. She'd have to. It would help him.. she'd beat herself up until it fell from her eye. Yeah... she'd save him. She always did... not that he ever needed saving...besides once, maybe twice... okay once. But that was different. Way different.
She got pretty close, enough to see shadows moving. She could tell who Gambit was, but the other, very large guy frighten her a little. Okay a lot. If thats what she's walking into then she'd rather die. If they all looked like... him... god help her. She was a very small girl, just over 5 feet tall. She was pretty, and very young looking. Living on the streets, well she knew what men would do to girls such as her. With out her fighting skills she would surly be dead. Without Gambit she would have died before she reached her second birthday. She owed him more then her life... but still, guys as big as that one...was not someone she wanted to mess with. She sure as hell wont be stealing from him. Not unless Gambit was by her side... which well.. he was a little busy at the moment.

Wolverine yelled loudly when his feet slammed the ground, not the guys face. Wolverine immediately turned towards the guy. He just growled when the guy spoke. Wolverine didn't care what he had to say. "You enjoy picking on kids do ya bub?" Wolverine said, growling more at the guy. Most people would have given up trying to fight with the guy as he didn't seem to want to fight, but Wolverine wasn't most people. The guy hadn't thrown the first punch yet, but he did seem to have been picking on a kid. As much as Wolverine disliked dealing with kids, he certainly did not like to see a grown man tormenting them. The guy then spoke of a misunderstanding, but Wolverine just growled at that. There was no misunderstanding what had been going on. The kid had yelled, and ran away from the guy. The guy must have been causing trouble, and Wolverine didn't like it.
Wolverine took a look around to see if he could find the kid who had run off, but he didn't see them anywhere. He growled again, and snarled at the man. "You just gonna stand there? You scared?" Wolverine said as he stood in front of the man, his hands out by his sides. He had not extended his claws yet but he was fully prepared to if needed. He didn't think he would need them though, he was sure he would be able to handle this guy just by punching him a few times. And since Wolverine was fully focused on the man he didn't even notice the smell of someone else that was nearby. He wasn't even paying that much attention to his senses, he just wanted to teach the guy a lesson.

This guy had some attitude, yet another thing that tried to ignite the fire in Gambit's memory. But alas, it just wasn't picking up, but when he spoke.. A few bad memories came rushing back, all he could see were cells and the scent of human. Nah, this guy wasn't a guard from this past... A fellow prisoner maybe?
A small smile spread across his face "mah, I do 'member you from somewhere!" He said pointing at the man before pulling out his deck of cards, toying with them effortlessly. "They house animals like you here?" he asked a small laugh following the question.
"Ah am gon' tell you again... bub.." he said mockingly. "it'twas a missunderstandin' between me an mah kid.. So you gon' kindly back off or I'ma show ya how scared ah am" He tossed a card in the air, catching it between his fingers, the card began to glow lightly as he smirked at the man. This was more fun than anything.

Tatiana had for sure caused some trouble. She could see the tension in the other mans, voice, his body. Everything just so.... mad? She was not sure what it was but that new guy did not look like he liked his life very much. No wonder, maybe he was trapped in that place, like a caged animal. Maybe... maybe they kept him there. Maybe someone with mind control was making him do this. Awww poor guy! As she stood crouched down low to the ground, watching she could not help but think of the horrors inside. Oh god. What would they make her do? Not like she could do much. Maybe she would be some kind of servant lady to the people who could do cool stuff like Gambit... or maybe she'd cook or clean or... god be some kind of house wife, enslaved to the place. Oh god no... no no she was not gonna go in there. This man here confirmed that. If he was that mad at the world... she would straight want to die. She could never live like that... never!
With a shift of her legs, she got into a better position, watching close. She was ready to scream out and jump in front of Gambit. You know be the hero or whatever. If it came down to it. She'd help him. But for now she wanted to watch. She was still pretty mad at Gambit, so maybe letting the other guy get in a punch or two... nah he'd never get close enough. Stupid boy. She was not even sure he was gifted, though he sure was scary. But still, he would not stand a chance... but did she really want to sit and watch Gambit... Well yeah it was fun watching him with his card tricks. She always found them entertaining. Even if this man was hurt still, her Gambit would be fine, and that's all that mattered. If it got too much, of if Gambit got bored she'd step in and save him. But for now she was quiet, not making a single sound, peeking out from a nearby bush, waiting for a ques, or something. Her eyes were on Gambit mostly, watching for a signal, one saying he was bored or whatever. Yeah she just had to wait a moment.

Wolverine growled at the guy at what he said. He was starting to piss Wolverine off. Wolverine then just watched as the guy pulled out a deck of cards, and it made him laugh. "What are you going to do? Play a card game?" Wolverine said, as he stood in front of the guy, with his hands to his sides, waiting to extend his claws if he needed to. He still didn't think he needed to though, as the guy seemed pretty easy to beat, especially now that he had just pulled a deck of cards out. Wolverine was sure one good punch to the face and the guy would be out. "Seems like you need to beat up on little kids to make yourself feel good. I don't like that" Wolverine said, growling at the guy. "Come on bub, make the first move" Wolverine threatened.
