Faith groaned slightly when she woke up, having the urge to move before she was trapped and hurt again. She rose her arm but found it to be attached to something, and she growled softly when she realized that she was attached to an IV drip. She paused briefly to figure out where she was, and more importantly how she got there. Momentarily falling into the train of thought that she was caught again, like X-23 was when they met, she began to panic. Her immediate reaction was to rip the drip out of her arm, the nodes that were attached to various other body parts, and hop off of the table. She pulled out the needle that she had broken off in her arm from where she had ripped it off. Her healing factor took care of the very minor wound, and she noticed that her other wounds had healed nicely. She didn’t know how long she was out, but she had a feeling that it couldn’t have been more than a few days.
She walked around the room, looking for a way out of there. She couldn’t, no scratch that, wouldn’t wait for the scientists to come back for her, and then experiment on her once more. She had escaped once, and she could, would do it again. She was not going to let them do any more horrible experimentations on her, and she had the urge to rush out of there. But first she was going to have to change out of this crappy hospital like gown, and she was luck to find a set of sweats tucked away into a drawer. She quickly pulled those on before turning to leave the room. She tossed the gown away, and paused as she heard the door open with a swish and close with the same sound. The person that entered was not a malevolent scientist, but someone she had only seen in pictures. He seemed to fill the room with his presence, and she thought that he seemed to be guarded. Her eyes darted around the room from where she made a mess in her attempt to hurriedly escape what she thought was the Facility.
Faith swallowed hard, and attempted to look anywhere else but at him. She suddenly remembered where she was and what happened. She had shown up at Xavier’s School, knowing about the place from X-23. She had just been brutally beaten a few hours before her arrival, and her healing factor wasn’t strong enough to take care of all that damage while she was still conscious. So she had collapse on the man with the wheelchair, and woke up here. ”I’ll get going. Tell Wheels thanks for his help, but I’m fine now.” She told him in a tone that said she didn’t need anyone now. She attempted to move past him, as she had to rescue X-23 from the people that raised her.

Wolverine had heard that there was a kid that had come to the manor all beaten up. As much as Wolverine disliked kids, what he disliked more was people who beat kids up. At first he had just gone about his business and let everyone else take care of the kid, he had decided to just peek in on her later. So once everything had settled down and the kid had been there for a little while, Wolverine decided it was time to check up on her. It usually wasn't the type of thing he did, especially since there were many other people capable of taking care of her, but nobody was around at the time so he figured it wouldn't hurt to just see her for a couple minutes. He had made his way to the Medical Labs, where they kept any injured person. Wolverine himself had been in there many times before, even though he never really needed it. His healing ability usually took care of his wounds, but in some occasions his wounds had taken a day or so to heal. They eventually healed though.
Wolverine walked like he knew exactly where he was going, and what he was doing. Which he did, but he still hoped nobody paid any attention to him. He didn't want to make a big scene out of him just checking up on a new kid. He looked around before going near the room the kid was in, just to make sure he had picked the right time to check on her. The last thing he needed was the kids thinking he was soft. He liked to let the students of the manor know that he wasn't going to tolerate them. It was bad enough they ate all the food, were always in his way, and Wolverine couldn't smoke around them, but if they thought he liked kids it would make his life much worse.
Wolverine had expected the kid to just be sleeping, so he would pop his head into the room, see that she was alright, then walk away. As he was going near the door though, he could hear a bunch of noise coming from the room. "What the hell are they doing to her?" he asked himself as he opened the door and walked in. He certainly didn't expect the kid to just be standing there. "Uh" was all Wolverine could say when the kid told him to tell 'wheels' that she was fine. The kid then tried to move past Wolverine, but he automatically grabbed her by the arm. "I don't think leaving right now is such a good idea, kid" He said to her. He thought it was odd that she was ready to leave so quickly, and she reminded him of someone, but he didn't exactly know who she reminded him of. "I think you should stay here until someone else comes back" he said to her as he continued holding onto her arm.

Faith began to felt the walls close in on her, the urge to get out of there pressing in on her. She was close to a panic attack, and she knew it. This room looked too much like the Facility, and it was having a very unpleasant effect on her. Her breathing got a bit heavy, and her chest started to heave in an effort for her to accommodate the reaction she was having to the room. So she had another reason to hightail it out of there in addition to going to save X-23, her mind was going through all the possible things they could be doing to her. She sneered in reaction to the thought, her lips curled back to reveal her fangs. She was determined to get the woman out, as if it wasn’t for her X-23 would still be free. She ended up grinding her teeth, the guilt of that thought eating away at her.
As she moved to get past him, a large hand reached out and grabbed her arm. Her first reaction was to reach up with her other hand and remove his from her arm. She has had the training to do so after all, but instead of following her instincts she only turned to look up at him. She wondered briefly if he knew he was staring at his daughter or not. Not that she cared, but she couldn’t help but wonder. She remembered that she would imagine him come tearing into the Facility to rescue her when she was little, but then after a while she had grown out of that foolish fantasy. She came to accept the fact that he wasn’t coming for her, and that she was fated to suffer in that place alone. She accepted that she was to experience pain, grief, and misery. She knew she was to give into her animalist, feral side at a drop of a pin, but she didn’t want to do so.
"Uh I don't think leaving right now is such a good idea, kid I think you should stay here until someone else comes back"
First thing Faith had to do was to get her arm out of his grip, so she jerked her arm free. He didn’t have a right to restrain her like that, no one did. He might be the man whose DNA was in her as well as her mother’s, but she had been 16 years without him. She didn’t need anyone, the Weapon X Project made sure of that. ”Sorry to disappoint you, Wolverine. But staying in one place too long can be dangerous, especially to my health. And wait for who? The guy in the wheelchair? X-23? In case you didn’t notice, she has been missing for a few days.” She responded to him, and attempted to move past him again. She had to get out of there, go find X-23, and get her back.

Wolverine kept a hold of the kids arm, trying to stop her from leaving. He looked around to see if anyone was coming, anyone that could help get the kid back to bed. As Wolverine was looking towards the door hoping someone who could help would walk in, the kid jerked her hand free from his grip. The kid then began to speak, and Wolverine just watched her, at first not knowing what to say. "Well, waiting for the Professor would be a start. Or wait for the doctors to come back in. You can't just leave here, especially after being beaten up the way you were" He said to her. The kid then mentioned 'X-23'. "How do you know X-23?" Wolverine asked, not even realizing that the kid had said his name. Even if he had noticed he would have thought someone just told her about him, probably any one of the people that had come into the room to check up on her.
Wolverine then grabbed her arm again, a little tighter this time. "Your not going anywhere without someone looking at you first" He said. He then looked towards the door, still hoping someone would walk in. "Damn people are never here when you need them" He said to himself. He moved himself in front of the door to block the kid from running out, while still holding onto her arm. "The Professor already knows your here. He's gonna want to talk to you again to figure out what happened to you. So.. Just stay here" Wolverine said. He definetely wasn't a kid person so didn't really know how to talk to one, especially when trying to get them to calm down and to stay. If he had his way he would have picked the kid up, tossed her on the bed, and then put restraints on her. He would have loved to just walk away and let someone else deal with her, but there didn't seem to be anyone around. So Wolverine just stood there in front of the door, holding onto the kids arm, hoping she would just give in and go back to the bed.

Faith needed, no had to get out of there. She didn’t want to attack anyone, but she was steadily getting to the point that she would. She was slowly beginning to feel like a caged animal, that didn’t want to be locked up. She heard him tell her who she should wait for, and she growled, really growled, when he mentioned doctors. In her mind, doctors, scientists, laboratory assistance, basically anyone with a white lab coat had the only purpose to cause her pain and took pleasure in hurting her. ”I said I am fine! I was conditioned to bounce back into a fight from worse!” She repeated and added through clenched teeth. Her anger starting to roll off of her, and her displeasure at anyone wearing lab coats getting anywhere near her. He then asked her about how she knows X-23, and she suddenly got a little of her focus back. ”X-23 kept me free, by giving up her own freedom. She just showed up in the middle of my battle and we fought off the soldiers sent after me.” She added quietly, thinking of the soft and kind tone that his clone gave her.
He grabbed her arm again when she tried to leave once more, this time tighter. He told her she isn’t going anywhere, and she narrowed her eyes at him. She even gave him her dangerous warning growl, as prepared herself to fight her way out of there. She noticed that he seemed to be looking at the door behind him longingly as if willing someone else to walk in and take over this situation. His muttering statement of people being unreliable confirmed that for her, and then he moved to keep her in the room by planting himself in front of the door. She forcibly jerked her arm free once again when he said that someone called the Professor would want to talk to her. ”They were right about you, Logan. Would rather pawn off your own responsibilities to someone else then deal with them directly and run. Unlike you, it is my fault that X-23 is back where we were born and raised. And I’m going after her, even if means I loose my newly found freedom. So either move aside or I will go through you.” She said a bit on the angry side, her hands balled up into fists. She might not have the claws or the adamantium like him, but she could move faster and survive anything he may through at her in a fight. After surviving all those tests and procedures to see what they could do to with her healing factor, she should, could, would handle anything her father could throw at her.

When it seemed like nobody was going to come anytime soon to check up on the kid, Wolverine guarded the doorway to make sure the girl didn't get out the door. It certainly wasn't something he wanted to do, he would have rathered just leave the girl alone and go about his day, but he knew he couldn't do that. The kid then had explained what had happened to X-23, and Wolverine just nodded his head. If the kid was right then he knew he had to go after her, but he had to check around to make sure the kid wasn't lying. He wasn't willing to go on a wild goose chase. He had better things to do.
The kid then growled and jerked her arm free. Wolverine growled right back. He knew she wouldn't be able to get out there, not with him blocking the door, but he wasn't too happy about her struggling. He was pretty close to tossing her on the bed and putting restraints on her so she couldn't leave. He had to control himself, even though it was very hard to do. Wolverine had a short temper and hated dealing with things and people, like the kid that was trying to leave the room. Any of his self control disapeared though, when the kid spoke again. It wasn't exactly what she said that pissed him off, he could care less about what she thought, but it was the 'or I will go through you' that got him. Wolverine did not act kindly towards threats.
"Alright, that's it" Wolverine said, growling. He simply picked the kid up by grabbing her arms, and he planned on tossing her on the bed and putting restraints on her. He was tired of dealing with her, and he figured she needed to learn that nobody threatened him. He then took a step away from the door. He was happy to finally have a solution to the annoying problem.

Faith had to get out of there, she was close to feeling like a trapped animal and that was never a good thing. She had killed lab assistances because they refused to let her out when she felt cornered and trapped, just like she was feeling at that moment. Her hands aching with effort and pain as her sharp nails bit into her palm from where she was clenching her fists, getting ready to swing her way out of there. She was so determined to get out of that room, and go after X-23, that she believed nothing would and could stand in her way. Not even this man in front of her, who just so happened to be her father.
She snarled when the man growled back at her. She had been the alpha of her pack for so long, that she refuses to bow down to anyone who might try to dominate her. Even if that pack only consisted of her, and she was used to staying in charge of herself and not looking out for anyone but herself. No one else looked out for her, so she made sure she learned how to do it herself. She was angry as he wouldn’t let her out of the room, to calm herself down. Didn’t the big brut know that she was slowly starting to panic just by being in this room? Apparently not as the idiot had no idea who she was, not that she cared any. She couldn’t help the alpha part of her brain as it smirked when she saw she pissed him off, not that she enjoyed it but she knew that if there was to be a brawl out between them she might have a chance if she kept her cool and he lost his.
However, that feeling dimmed in Faith’s mind as he grabbed her arms and picked her up with a simple growl of making a decision. Her eyes quickly lost focus on him as he restrained her, memories of others trying and successfully restraining her for disobedience flooded her mind. In her experience, restraining her caused her immense pain and misery and there was no way she was going to allow him to hurt her. No freaking way. So when he picked her up, she started to kick her feet as hard as she could at him. Not really paying much attention where she was aiming, just as long as he released her. She couldn’t help but have the now melt in with the past, as she remembered. ”Put me DOWN!” She demanded of him, struggling with every ounce of energy she had in her. It was clear now that she was starting the stages of visible panic, and soon she was going to be starting to lash out. She didn’t care that she could break her hand with a strike at his jaw, she didn’t care about anything but getting out of there.

The kid had bugged Wolverine enough to force him to pick her up. He had planned on doing what he should have done in the first place. She needed to be strapped to the bed, preferably with something in her mouth to shut her up. Wolverine then needed to leave the room, and go about his day. At least that's what he wanted, and planned on doing. The kid obviously had different plans, as when he picked her up she started squirming around. "Cut it out!" Wolverine yelled at her, but it didn't seem to help as she started kicking. If Wolverine had known she would freak out on him he wouldn't have bothered picking her up. The kid was kicking hard, a few kicks missed, and a couple hit his legs. Those were no big deal. But when her foot came swinging right into Wolverine's balls, he immediately was going down. Wolverine was very tough but he did have his weak spots.
He didn't even have a chance to drop her as right when she kicked him; the door came flying open, knocking Wolverine in the back, causing him to lose his balance. Normally the door would not have knocked him down, but the kick was going to knock him down anyways. Wolverine had very little control of how he was going down, but the girl was definitely going down with him. Right before Wolverine could completely crush her though, he managed to hold his arms out and catch himself. His body stilled slammed into her, but his full weight was not on her. The fall barely phased Wolverine, but he cringed at the pain in his balls. "That's gonna leave a mark" he said to himself.

Faith only snarled and growled at him. She wasn’t going to cut it out. Not as long as he held her like that. She could only think that he would hurt her, give her pain. Just like the others, just like she knew what would happen. Like she was used to. When he still held onto her, she let her instincts take over and she started to kick him. It wasn’t until she felt her foot connect with something soft and yielding compared to rock hard wall of muscle, when she knew she had won the round. She didn’t mean to kick him in the groin, but she also knew subconsciously that if it looked like she wasn’t going to win she would fight dirty. She was taught to fight to win, and if she couldn’t win fairly then she would have to win dirty. She knew where all males had their weak spots, and she wasn’t above using them to get what she wanted. She wasn’t the type of person to exploit someone emotionally to accomplish her goals. She was a fighter, a killer, a soldier, and she wasn’t the touchy feely girl either. She got her point across with actions rather than words. That was how she was raised.
She only ended up panicking even more when she noticed the door behind swing open, hitting him squarely in the back about the exact same time her foot unintentionally made contact with his nuts. She felt the two of them going down, and he wasn’t letting her go she was sure of it. She had thought that someone else was coming in to help him retrain her, hurt her, maim her. However when they finally landed, she was pinned under him, nearly crushed to oblivion. This did not help her one bit, and she only started to swing at him with her fists, not making a lot of headway with that tactic. She only wanted him off of her, and as she flailed her fists at him she was squirming again. Her only thought was to get away from him and those who had just entered the room.
Faith had managed, with great difficulty, to squirm half way out from under him. She then took one of her fists, and swung as hard a she could at his jaw. She knew that her punch wouldn’t phase him much, but she had hoped she put enough force behind it to send a lesser man flying. She only wanted to get her point across that she wasn’t going anywhere with him or those people that had entered the room. When her hand made contact, she bit back the yelp of pain that wanted to escape her when she felt and heard the bones in her hand break. She wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction that she couldn’t move him in that manner. However that surge of pain gave her enough strength to finish squirming out from under him and scurry to the furthest corner from him and whoever else had entered.
She cradled her broken hand, the shape looking odd, and set her mouth into a hard expression as she expertly without pain medication set the bones. She knew she had to do it quick before her healing factor set in and began to mend it into an odd shape. She grunted out the pain she had caused herself as she gave herself first aid. Not once did she cry out in pain and misery. Not once did a single tear or sob escape her. She didn’t have anymore child reactions left in her to show, instead she looked more like a battle worn soldier than a teenager. Her wild, terrified eyes snapped up to their guests and him when he remarked about her accidental kick to his groin. ”I sure hope so, Howlett.” She snarled at him, hoping that he got the idea that she wasn’t just some kid off the street.
When it looked like that the new comers where coming toward her for who knew what, she lashed out at them. She still had it in her mind that they were going to hurt her, and if they got the idea that if she was going to hurt them first then they should leave her alone. ”You people stay away from me!” She shouted at them, and shrank back from their reach.

Wolverine hadn't known it at the time, but picking the kid up had been a really bad idea. He hadn't thought it would be so hard to just toss her on the bed and put restraints on her. It turned out that she was very stubborn, though. She had kicked him hard in the balls, and he had fallen over with the help of someone pushing the door open, causing it to slam into his back. He had landed on the girl, but had managed to stop all his weight from falling on top of her, by catching himself with his hands. Wolverine didn't even have time to recover from the kick, when the girl began punching at him. "Argh!" Wolverine yelled.
He wasn't even paying attention to the girl trying to squirm away from him; his attention was on trying to get her to stop punching him. As his hands were still holding him from completely crushing her, he had no way of stopping her from punching him. The girl managed to pull herself almost all the out from underneath him, and the first thing she did was stupidly punch him in the face. As she was a just a kid, the punch didn't hurt much. It didn't have much time to leave a mark either, as Wolverine instantly began healing himself. From the sound that her hand made, it was obvious that she had broken some bones. She had then commented about hoping her kick left a mark. How she knew so much about him, he wasn't sure. Parts of his past were still a mystery even to him. But the kids broken hand was the least of her problems, as Wolverine was getting over the pain of getting kicked in the balls, and was now completely pissed.
As the kid dealt with the people that came into the room, Wolverine slowly got up. From the look on his face anyone could tell that he was extremely pissed. Kid or no kid, nobody kicked him in the balls and got away with it. Wolverine gave the kid a look that even most men would have cowered from. He then began walking towards her, and as he did he extended his claws. The professor would have completely disapproved of what Wolverine was about to do, but he wasn't even thinking about that as he continued walking towards the girl, growling as he walked. His only thought then was to kill.

Faith sat huddled in the corner, cowering in fear, completely sure that they were going to hurt her. She was back as a scared, terrified three year old girl. Before she was taught how to fight, back when they were using her to test limits to HIS and hers healing ability. But her mind was so warped and she wasn’t sure where she was at in her mind, that she knew she couldn’t cry and sob anymore. Then she felt a pair of hands reach for her, knowing that her warning of staying away was not heeded. Instead of reissuing it, her animalistic instincts took over and she snapped at the touching hands with her wolf-like fangs. She heard a yelp, and she couldn’t help the small feeling of victory as the hand retreated from her. Her nose visibly worked as she automatically sniffed the air, finally smelling the blood that she had spilled with her bite. She barely registered the owner of a now maimed hand demand that someone get the first aid kit, as her eyesight focused on HIM. Another memory of her early childhood sprung forward, and she cowered further into her ball or measly protection.
She expected batons to start raining down upon her any moment. Not realizing that HE didn’t have any. She placed her hands over her head protectively, squeezed her eyes shut, and quivered in her spot. She was currently having trouble realizing what was real and what was a memory, as the two of them seemed to melt together into one big mess. She balled up her hands, momentarily forgetting that one of them was broken, and she hissed and howled in pain. It didn’t have ample enough time to heal, as she had knew from one experiment that it would have taken a few hours to complete. But she momentarily forgot all about her newly acquired injuries, and she just huddled in the corner shaking in terrifying fear from what she thought was going to more painful experiments. Then for some unknown reason, a whisper of a memory, a more recent memory, invaded her mind. ‘Go! Go to the States, find Xavier’s School for the Gifted. That’s where you belong.’ The kind but urgent voice of X-23 whispered in her mind, tears threatened to spill as she realized what happened. ’Lair!’ She mentally shouted at the clone, and closed her eyes as she inadvertently shed a few terrified and frustrated tears.
Faith was an animal, she knew it, the Facility knew it, and HE even knew it. She didn’t belong anywhere but perhaps back at the place she ran away from, and if it meant that if she survived this and she returned so be it. But of course she would welcome death if it found her at the same pair of hands that gave the Facility reason to create her. A few more tears escaped her, not really meaning for them to. She wasn’t some sniveling, sniffling infant and child anymore. ”I bet those bastards didn’t think I would be a victim of filicide…” She barely whispered to no one in particular, as more tears silently fell down her face. She didn’t dare look up into the face of her potential killer, for she had quite a few years to study it, learn it, memorize it. She would rather be killed like the child she never was.

As Wolverine always had a bad temper it was easy to really piss him off. But when someone killed him in the balls, he became beyond pissed. So when the kid had kicked him in the balls Wolverine went into one of his 'berserker rages'. When he had one of these rages, no one was safe. When he managed to finally stand up after falling down, it was obvious that he had been pushed enough to become so mad that he was willing to kill whoever, just to kill someone. Wolverine barely paid any attention to what the kid was doing; instead he just focused on where she was. Wolverine wanted to kill, and anyone that got in his way, would up dead. Unfortunately for the people that were there just trying to help, they got in his way. Wolverine didn't even think twice when he sliced one of the peoples back. He then just kicked them aside like they were a piece of trash. Another person actually stepped up to try and stop Wolverine. They got his claws through their stomach. He then kicked them aside as well, still heading towards the kid. Once he got to the kid he raised his claws, and began swinging them, trying to slice her up.

Faith could hear him coming, and she knew he wasn’t going to stop until she was dead. However she wasn’t going to move, as she was too frightened to do so. Not even the other shouts of pain had her moving towards some place of safety, and his heavy footsteps hurriedly came toward her after she heard him kicked those others aside. Her nose moved as she sniffed the air, and smelled blood. Freshly spilled blood, and she tightened herself further into her measly attempted at protecting herself in her ball. She thought that she was safe where she was, but she couldn’t have been so wrong. Especially when she heard the distinct whistling of air moving around a blade, and then stinging pain as three sharp blades tore into her back.
The young feral mutant howled briefly in pain, but then her wound healed before he swung at her again. She howled again, and again, as her wounds were taken care of with her healing ability. Her instinct for survival kicked in, and she snarled with an accompanying growl as her training came back to her. The next swing he gave, she ducked and rolled away from him to end up off to his side and on her feet. She stood there, eyeing him with determination and a deadly caged animal in her eyes. She waited until he swung at her again, and once more she ducked and rolled to end up moving with expert movement between his legs. Like him, her only thoughts now were to kill or maim and escape. She had played this game for so long, it was of course the only thing she knew.
As Faith moved under him, she snarled showing her animalist teeth and attempted to sink her wolf-like fangs into his inner thigh as she passed. She didn’t wait to see what the effect of her attack was, as she sprang up directly behind him. She then lifted her right foot, and attempted to strike him directly in the middle of his back. Her objective was to send him face first into the wall in front him. Once again she didn’t wait to see if her attack had worked, as she had turned and ran. She rushed toward the door, and her only thought was to escape. She was going to either kill or maim whoever got in her way and attempted to stop her retreat. When the person she had bit, and her father had slice up across the back, had tried to stop her with a good hand grab, she ducked the moving hand and swept their feet directly out from under them.
She snarled showing off her inhuman teeth, and growled a loud warning as she bit down on the person’s other hand. The new howl of pain from them didn’t pull her out of her mindset, as she jumped over the downed body to continue her escape. Of course she knew that he could track her, just like she could track him, but she didn’t care. She had to get out of there, and she had a straight shot toward the door. Her tactical trained mind told her that she better take it for she might not have another chance, so she continued to make her way toward the exit.
