Faith ran out of the door that connected the basement level to the rest of the place. Her eyes darted around her, her mind analyzing and strategically looking for a way out of that place. She could still hear her father’s anger and rage behind her, and hers was still steadily growing. She knew that soon it would reach that same level, and no one would be safe. A few individuals rushed at her, and tried to grab her. She quickly and expertly ducked their reach before swiping her leg out and knocking theirs out from under them. She quickly ended up behind them and gave them a blood chokehold effectively knocking them unconscious. She wasn’t going to kill anyone, not unless they were with the Facility, but that did not mean that she couldn’t use her Sanshou to escape this place.
They young feral only had one thing in mind and that was to escape, she felt like she didn’t need anyone or anybody. Her ‘handlers’ had beat her, whipped her, repeatedly tried to kill her, and she won’t take anyone else doing the same to her. No matter how much DNA they shared, they had no right to treat her the same way she has been treated all of her life. More individuals attempted to stop her progress, and she gave them the same treatment as the others. She was sure she was making quite a few people curious as she left behind forcibly, sleeping bodies in her wake for a way out.
Faith heard someone approach her, and she stilled as she tried to melt into the shadows and woodworks like she was trained to do when in hostile territory. She had no clue who it was, but until she can determine if they are a friend they are a foe. Everyone here is a foe, even her very own father.

Lexi had spent most of the day in the garden where she had been planting new bulbs ready for the next season and as a consequence was rather muddy. She had forgone her usual bare feet as the weather had turned colder than she had expected and so wore a pair of sturdy boots that didn't hinder her movements too much, a pair of jeans and a hoody to keep her warm- although it had failed miserably as by the time she had decided to come back inside the mansion she was shivering and rubbing at her arms in an attempt to get warmer. "Damn weather." she muttered as she let herself through the main door before closing it behind her. Shuddering slightly she reached up and ran her fingers through her pink hair, pulling the tangles out as she did so- the wind was probably the main reason for her being so cold as it was very biting and not very good for either herself or her new plants.
Walking down the hallway she clutched at a woven basket that was filled to the brim with flowers with the intention of perhaps doing a nice flower display to put into the entry way- she figured that even with the impressive staircase and rich furnishing it could do with a little splash of colour and the flowers would certainly do that...the only problem was getting a decent sized vase for the job and for that she needed to go to her own room first where she kept a couple for such occassions.
It was as she was walking along, her mind busy thinking up what would be the best way to display her flowers that she heard the commotion. Looking up in confusion her eyes looked about her as she tried to pinpoint the source of the problem but as it was she saw nothing, so with a shrug she continued on her way. That is until she heard a barely there noise and she stopped again, her fingers clutching about the basket handle a little harder- was there an intruder? Surely if there was the alarm would be going off by now? "Hello?" She turned slightly so she could peer behind her. "Is there someone here? If so I really hate playing games."

Faith hid in the shadows watching the lady as she entered. She didn’t want to have to harm or kill her, so she kept quiet. Her hearing picked up more of Logan’s snarls and yells from downstairs, and she couldn’t help but take sharp intake of air. She didn’t know what was keeping him, but she remembered learning that he doesn’t give up on a pursuit very easily. She really expected him to barge right after her swinging and swiping his claws at her, and her doing everything in her power and training to escape him and this place. She watched as the lady looked about her after hearing Logan from downstairs, and she could help but notice how loud that man was when he was pissed. ’He shouldn’t have restrained me. He should have just let me leave.’ She thought to herself, involuntarily grinding her teeth at the thought of what he did to her.
She watched the lady with eyes of a predator as the female moved around like the lady was her prey or something. In the young feral’s mind this woman was either her prey or her foe, and foe was most likely to be right and she couldn’t help the small warning growl that escaped her at the thought. She just wanted to be left alone and get out of there, and then to rescue X-23. She didn’t care if she got caught and captured, as long as she was trying to do something right for once in her life and not creating and causing chaos and mayhem. In her mind, now that she had finally met her father she doubted he would actually like having her around. He did after all just tried to kill her.
"Hello? Is there someone here? If so I really hate playing games."
Faith wasn’t playing any games. She didn’t know how. In her head this was life or death, and she would always choose her life over her death. She launched herself from her hiding place in the shadows, and tackled the lady. She positioned her hands and arm to put the lady into a sleeper hold around her neck. ”Tell Logan I’m outta here.” She growled and snarled into the woman’s ear, not really caring if she knew who she was talking about or not.

Lexi wasn't the type of lady to curse -well not aloud anyway- but when she was suddenly tackled out of nowhere she very nearly did. However she managed to keep it in and instead gave a small yelp of surprise as she felt arms wrap around her middle and then around her neck as well. What the hell? She couldn't even walk down the hallway of where she lived now? Who was this person and why hadn't the alarms gone off? From the feel of the body pressed against her own the mystery person was either a kid or a female...or both but either way Lexi did not appreciate being stuck in this sort of position- even more so since she didn't exactly know enough to get herself out of it. She was a pacifist for crying out loud!
Of course all thoughts of peace and love were far from her mind when her eyes settled onto the basket that had held her flowers and she narrowed them in anger. How dare this person do such a thing? Lexi had spent months getting those just right! She had lovingly nurtured them until she could take clippings to grow more and today had clipped them as they would soon be past the cycle of life and she wanted to share their beauty with the rest of the household. This person had ruined all of that! Some of the poor things had been stood on in the 'fight' and that just pissed her off.
”Tell Logan I’m outta here.”
Well, that answered the question about the gender of the attacker- despite the fact it had been growled into her ear it was easy to tell that it was a female. Honestly what was she thinking in behaving in such a manner? Did she have no manners? Lexi might hate being so rich and having had a privelaged background compared to most of the people she met but she was of the firm belief that manners were everything. After her plants.
"Well," Lexi rasped out as the grip around her neck prevented her from saying much, "Why not tell him yourself?" She pulled her gaze from her crumpled flowers on the floor and stared down the corridor before trying to remember what she vaguely remembered from one of the very few defence classes she had actually been made to attend before they had realised she wouldn't take part from anything. What was she supposed to do? And how far had she moved from the door? She closed her eyes and thought about it before giving a small smile.
Outside, where the door to the school was located several thick vines and roses began to grow and writhe as they covered the doorway- effectively blocking the way out (or at least until the escaping person managed to chop them down). Opening her eyes again, safe in the knowledge that whatever happened right now the intruder wasn't about to just get away she brought her head forward slightly before bringing it back as hard as she could, wincing as she connected with the girl behind her.

Faith was aiming to put the lady to sleep so she could quickly retreat to safety. Another roar was heard from downstairs, as she grunted when she mentally visually pictured her large father break free of whatever or whoever was holding him back. She knew the best chance for her own survival was to run, and run as fast and far she could away from and this place. She knew she couldn’t return, ever. For if she did she might end up screwed up or worse, dead. She might have hated her life, herself, but she hated being screwed up or dead even more. Those are right up there with the Facility and Weapon X Project, her own personal hell on Earth. And of course right now, her father was up near the top of that list. He did try to kill her after all…
”Well Why not tell him yourself?”
She snarled and growled at the lady in her grasp. There was no way she was going near that man again. No freaking way! Her instinct was working on overdrive and it was telling her to put as much space and distance between her and that man. She owed him no respect or anything for that matter. He was just a DNA donor to her. Nothing more. All those feelings of being a disappointment to those humans in lab coats and the government came floating back to her. She didn’t have his claws, she couldn’t be bonded to the admantium, she is a failure, and her favorite she is a female. She was a disappointment from the start, since the moment she was born. And she will always be a disappointment. No matter who she looked up to. She was a complete and utter failure. Which was why she had to lookout for herself, because no one would want to do it.
”I don’t talk to anyone who tries to murder me.” Faith snarled back in answer just before her nose was hit with a breaking blow by the lady’s back of the head. She howled in pain briefly and let her go, stagger backwards a few feet. Her nearly healed hand gripping her now broken nose as a small amount of blood dripped from it before her healing factor kicked it and stopped the flow. She grunted in angrily as she twisted her nose into the proper position, yelling out once again at the pain it caused her. She eyed the woman coldly in an indifferent manner, and then turned to rush out of there.
She spied the doorway…covered in vines? And did she see some rose plants mixed in with the bunch? ’This is gonna hurt…for a brief moment.’ She thought as she increased her speed, and tucked into herself to intimidate a football player about to shoulder tackle someone on the opposite team. If she did it just right, and she was sure she did, she would bust through the wall of plants with little effort. The only thing she would have to remember it would be the brief cuts and bruises she would acquire from the impact. She was not staying there.

Lexi knew that what she had done was the right thing when the other girl let her ho immediately afterwards and as she turned around she was surprised to see that it was indeed a girl who had grabbed a hold of her- not just any girl but quite a young teenager by the looks of things. What on earth was she doing going about putting people into such positions? The roar from upstairs proved that Lexi had not been the first of her 'victims' although if that had been the case surely someone would have been able to stop her by now? Lexi wasn't a fighter and had gotten rid of the mini nuisance with a simple headbutt! One had to wonder at the teaching these people did...perhaps it was a good thing she had skipped out on all of them? They certainly weren't helping the other members of the household.
”I don’t talk to anyone who tries to murder me.”
Lexi thought back to what the girl had said just before she had received a chinful of Lexi's pink hair and as the girl in question ran off, leaving her behind Lex sighed softly. Murder? Here? If that was the case then she had seriously misjudged the people who lived here because quite frankly she wasn't sure she could see anyone killing another being -mutant or otherwise. Perhaps the child was mistake in some way? It was quite possible, especially when meeting some of the students here- Lexi herself found half of the building practically unbearable and she had yet to even stay in the same room as Wolverine for longer than a few minutes...although that was mostly to do with his cigars and drink problems. The man was a beast sometimes.
Finally however she forced herself to follow the girl although she followed at a slightly slower pace as she was quite confidant that her plants would be enough to stop the girl from going far...although there was nothing to say that the girl had some kind of ability that would render her own really quite useless (which alas was quite often the case these days). It was as she came around the corner that she watched the assailant running at the blocked doorway and Lexi couldn't help but roll her eyes at the attempt. Honestly, what was the point? However, she was feeling a little guilty about the headbutt thing so with a slight wave of her hand called off her plants that had grown for her. As the girl came nearly to the blockade the vines and thorns wriggled slightly before parting, leaving a sizable gap in the middle- enough for someone of her size to fall through if they continued on their attack.
Lex moved forwards again, a frown on her lips. "I don't know why your knickers are in a twist but I certainly did nothing to you," She crossed her arms and frowned at the child. "Explain yourself."

Faith was going too fast to slow down in time as she approached the plant wall and it opened for her. She fell through as she had already braced herself for an impact, but instead of making contact she just fell and stumbled right through a new opening. She tucked and rolled with her momentum, her healing factor quickly taking care of the minor scraps and bruises from her landing. When she finally stopped she was scraped good, but her ability was already healing her wounds. She put her hands down next to her and pushed herself up off the ground to get to her feet. Well, she was finally out in the open and surprisingly she calmed down just a bit. The open spaces of the outside always managed to calm her down somewhat, but she still had the need to destroy something when she was in that state and transition.
"I don't know why your knickers are in a twist but I certainly did nothing to you, Explain yourself."
She breathed deeply, her anger slowly coming back down to a simmer. She eyed the lady who was frowning at her with her arms crossed across her chest. She had to calm down some more before she even attempted to go inside period. It doesn’t matter if it was here or somewhere else. ”I don’t have to tell you anything. I got what I was after, and now I’m seriously doubting my decision.” She stared the woman down and crossed her arms in the same manner as her. Now that she wasn’t inside, she didn’t feel so caged and had her good head back on her shoulders. She wondered what was going through her mind when she decided to actually track down her father and meet him? Was she sane or insane? Did she expect some kind of slightly warm welcome? She didn’t know, but now that she was thinking more clearly she knew it was a mistake.
”Me coming was a major mistake… I’ll leave and not come back. Not with Logan trying to kill me.” Faith added emotionlessly, and turned to walk out the way she limped in only hours earlier. That man didn’t deserve to know the truth about her, not if he tried to kill her only after she warned him to let her go…

Lexi wasn't really sure what to make of a child running about trying to knock people out- she wasn't sure if she was glad that a girl could look after herself or just be really pissed off that said girl had attempted to knock her out. She went with being slightly pissed although it was mostly because her flowers had been stood on in the scuffle and since she was not one to forgive such a thing lightly she was not very willing to let the girl just walk away with it.
”Me coming was a major mistake… I’ll leave and not come back. Not with Logan trying to kill me.”
Ok. What? She turned her head up slightly so she could look up at the ceiling as if she was going to see the man in question before she looked back at the girl. She had seriously missed something in the time she had been out in her garden and apparently it was something she really ought to have been told about- how could no one tell her there was some stranger running about the place? What on earth was the point in all this bloody technology if it wasn't going to be used? She unfolded her arms and reached around to her back pocket where she could feel the ear piece that was part of her communication kit...she had to carry the thing about in case they needed her for any missions but she was seriously doubting why she bothered if they weren't going to use them.
She turned her attention back to the problem at hand, torn between letting the girl go and stopping her. Decisions decisions. On the one hand she could let the girl just get on with her life as Lexi was a free spirit who didn't really approve of tieing anyone down but then on the other did she really want Wolverine pissed at her for letting her go? She tapped her fingers against the pocket she had reached for for a moment or two before sighing and bringing the hand to her forhead where she could feel the beginnings of a headache- she should have just stayed in the garden...the plants weren't nearly as loud and confusing as the people she lived with. "Logan tries to kill everyone." She muttered mostly to herself. She had never met a man like him!
She looked at the girl again and watched as she turned away. Oh damn. What was she supposed to do? She rubbed at her forhead in agitation, "Where are[/] you going?" She asked, "Do you even have anywhere to stay?"

Faith had shown up at the place for four simple things. One, she was instructed to by the only person she liked. Two, to get some help in rescuing said person from the people that raised her. Three, to meet her father. And finally, to inform him that he has a kid. Well, she managed to only accomplish one of them and it went to hell in a hand basket very quickly shortly after that. She however managed to inform Logan that X-23 was taken, but she now seriously doubted that he would help her get her back. She figured that she was on her own now, just like she had always been for as long as she could remember. She slowly started to walk toward the gates, having every intent on just walking away and going to get the clone herself.
”Logan tries to kill everyone. Where are you going? Do you even have anywhere to stay?”
The feral girl paused as the lady mentioned her father. She could barely hear his rage now, but that wasn’t the point. She turned back to face the lady again and watched as she rubbed at her forehead. ”So is that how he treats his kid? Tries to slice me up? As for where I am going, I’m going to get X-23 back. And I ran from the place where I lived, not liking the things they were doing to me or made me do there.” She answered her in a tone that was close to an emotionless one, and had her arms crossed across her chest. She was a lot calmer now than what she was inside. She didn’t feel as trapped or claustrophobic.
Faith then turned her head away and looked down at the ground. She suddenly felt like she owed this lady an explanation. ”I asked him to let me leave, but he wouldn’t let me. I…um…panicked. I couldn’t be inside that medical bay any longer… It reminded me too much of where I grew up…” She felt that she couldn’t stop, as her simple explanation had turned into babbling. She wondered what had possessed her to even start this foolish thing, and she never babbled like an idiot. She was trained better than that, so why was she doing it now?

Lexi made her way fully out of the house and with a wave of her hand sent what remained of the plants around the doorway back to where they had originally come from although there was not doubt that she could summon them again if needed and still rubbing at her head gave another sigh. This headache was getting worse and she didn't have any pain killers on her which was highly annoying although the next thing the girl said was enough to shock her out of her pain (although perhaps not completely).
”So is that how he treats his kid?"
Kid? Her hand fell from her head as she gaped at the girl for a second or two before raising it to cover her mouth in shock. "Kid?" She questioned in a quiet whisper not entirely trusting her voice just at the moment as she continued to stare at the girl. This girl was Logan's kid? Wolverine. The mutant many of those living at the school had a very healthy fear of? Somehow she simply couldn't see the man getting close enough to anyone to actually father a child let alone be any sort of father figure...no wonder the girl was so pissed off with him! But to try and keep her locked up was beyond stupid although she had to wonder if he even knew the truth of the matter. "Good heavens."
Lexi eventually managed to move the hand from her mouth as the shock wore off and she instead looked over the girl with new eyes- she looked a lot calmer outside and that was something Lexi could identify with as she herself preferred to be out in the fresh air than locked up inside any sort of building. As the girl babbled out an explanation of sorts she couldn't help but smile lightly at it. How adorable! She would have giggled if she hadn't thought it would be rather insulting to the child if she had done so, instead she couldn't help feel a little guilty for the way she had attacked the girl to free herself as from all accounts the girl had been trying to save herself...and she couldn't blame her for that.
Lex took a few steps forward until she was just before the girl and reached out to touch her before pulling herself up short not sure she was quite willing to touch someone who probably wouldn't appreciate it. "I'm sorry for hitting you," She apologised softly, her words sincere. "I hate being locked up as well and would probably have done the same thing."

Faith felt like she was a lab rat once more, not a kid. Well she never really felt like a kid, not when she was raised in what she so affectionately calls Weapon X. She wasn’t prepared for this whole family thing, that much was clear. Hell, she wasn’t ready to interact with anyone outside of the Facility. She had caused her own father to try to kill her, and she suddenly didn’t feel the need to inform him of what she really was to him. Especially if he was going slice her up and gut her upon sight. In that case he doesn’t deserve to know the truth about her…ever. She couldn’t help but grind her teeth in thought at him, and if she were a normal person that didn’t have wolf-like fangs or an accelerated healing ability she was sure she would end up with dental problems soon.
She eyed the lady as shock took over her when she realized what she had just implied. She pretended it didn’t mean anything to her, but in reality it did buried deep down inside of her. Somewhere inside of her cool, indifferent attitude exterior she really wanted to know the man that she was suppose to molded after. But she didn’t know what to think now that he nearly tried to kill her with his claws. Sure she could survive that, she could survive nearly anything. With what Weapon X had done to, being attacked by her enraged father was a walk in the park. But did she really want to go back to the Facility now that she had a taste of what he really was like? She didn’t know, but in her mind it was looking better and better.
”I’m sorry for hitting you, I hate being locked up as well and would probable have done the same thing.”
Faith watched with guarded eyes as the lady approached her and then reached out to touch her only to drop it before making contact. Of course she wouldn’t have known what to do if the lady did indeed touch, so she was relieved when it didn’t happen. She suppose that she would have flipped her over her shoulder like she was trained to do. It was so ingrained into her, that it was like an instinct reaction now. ”Eh. I’ve been through much, much worse.” She shrugged and waved off the apology, not letting herself be pulled into the soft tone of the lady. Even if she wanted to do so, but she felt like she didn’t deserve it. She was raised to believe it.

”Eh. I’ve been through much, much worse.”
Lexi frowned at the girl as she waved off her apology and whilst Lexi was glad she had done no lasting damage to either of them it wasn't quite the point. "My dear girl that is hardly the point...I shouldn't have attacked you but as it is you most certainly shouldn't have attacked me. Logan or no Logan!" Lexi was never what anyone would call 'soft' and since she tended to spend most of her time in the gardens had lost more of her social skills- with people anyway...if she had been with her plants she would have been a lot nicer if stern. Lex firmly believed that anything could grow with love and a little toughness.
However she supposed she couldn't blame the girl entirely for her actions as by all accounts it seemed that Logan was quite as much the blame for it which wasn't really surprising as Lex had decided quite some time ago that Wolverine really lived up to his namesake most of the time- he was quite the viscious character when it pleased him.
She took another step forward and this time extended her hand although she was pretty doubtful that the girl would take it, "I'm Lexine," She introduced herself with an ever so tiny smile as the headache was still there and she wasn't really in the mood to be really happy at meeting someone new -as probably mentioned before she really did prefer the company of her plants and people were ever so complicated! "But most people call me Lex...or Foxglove." She didn't go into the fact that the only reason they had called her that was because she happened to have a very deep love for discovering and making poisons, and as the Foxglove was a highly poisonous plant they had decided on that as her codename. Lexi preferred to think that the flower itself was a very useful one that did more good than bad...but she could see the reasoning behind the name.
