GENERAL APPEARANCE---
Selene is just a thin looking thing, but she is not like that at all. She is of course strong not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. In her youth, there was not a day that went by where she did not sport an injury consistent with a hard home life. Selene of course is a beautiful young woman, with long blond locks and puppy dog brown eyes that are able to melt just about anyone's stone heart. However if one were look under her carefully picked out and worn clothes, one would see numerous scars from childhood beatings.
Wardrobe: Selene of course usually wears an outfit of tee shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. She also wears the longer sleeves as to hide the scars of where her father had attempted to ‘brand’ her numerous times with a kitchen knife. Her clothes crosses the color spectrum depending on how she wants others to see her. One day she could be wearing bright, cheery colors to hid the fact that she is actually scared and trapped inside, and the next wear dark, gloomy colors to let the whole world know that there is something wrong with her somewhere. Those days she wears the dark colors could perhaps be interrupted as a cry for help…

GENERAL PERSONALITY---
Selene is such an impressionable person. She will bow to a much more dominate personality if confronted. However, she also has a strong will that will not allow her to give up easily. This tends to get her into more trouble than not. However, when presented with a way out of her current predicament, she will jump at the chance. Even if it means leaving whoever she is with to go with her rescuer. One of her most noble or honorable traits is that of loyalty. The only thing she truly dislikes is her father, for he had of course beat her nearly senseless everyday of her childhood.

GENERAL HISTORY---
Selene was a happy child out in public, but her home life was nothing but happy. She had been neglected by her father, and she was always drawn to the wrong type of attention. Her mother had died giving birth to her, and her father had resented her for it. He would often beat her over the little things, and she learned to quickly please her father from such a young age. She was stuck with the household chores and preparing the meals for the two of them. Of course this was in addition to her school studies. Everyday, no matter what she did to please her father, he had always found something to beat her mercilessly over. She constantly went to school with cuts and bruises that were highly suspicious. However she never told the teachers the truth about her mysterious injuries, for she was fearful of her father’s repercussions if he found out she told on him.
She began to date the wrong type of guys when she was old enough. She found it an excuse to leave the house and her father more than just going to school. The guys she usually dated were controlling and abusive, just like her father. However, she just wasn’t quite sure on how to break that cycle of her life. She graduated high school with good grades, but was to frightened of her father and his threats to go away to further her education. So she stayed there, got a dead end job witnessing at a nearby dinner, and goes home to continue to be her father‘s punching bag. She spends her free time planning her escape, but she just hasn‘t quite figured out how to leave her father just yet.
