* WADE Winston WILSON !
[/size]Full Name: Wade Winston Wilson
Nicknames: Wade
Codename: Deadpool
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Birthday: Unknown
Species: Mutant
Orientation: Straight
Status: Single
Face Claim: Ryan Reynolds
Student/Professor/Occupation: Mercenary
Which side are you on?: Neutral
Abilities:
Wade possesses a superhuman healing factor, similar to that of Wolverine’s, that lets him regenerate damaged or destroyed cells at a far quicker rate than an ordinary human, allowing him to re-grow severed limbs or vital organs. His abilities also allow him to recover from all head wounds. A useful side effect is that he is nearly invulnerable to psychic and telepathic powers, since the altered brain cells simply regenerate to their original state. The speed of his healing is directly proportionate to the severity of the damage he suffers. His healing factor allows Wade a near immunity to most poisons and drugs, along with resistance to most diseases and a slowed aging process. His superhuman healing ability enhances many of Wade’s natural physical abilities. For example, his muscles generate less fatigue toxins than ordinary humans, which grants him superhuman levels of stamina. In addition, his natural strength, agility, and reflexes have been enhanced beyond the natural levels of an ordinary human.
Wade is also an extraordinary hand-to-hand combatant and is skilled in multiple unarmed combat techniques. He is a master of assassination techniques, is an excellent marksman, and is highly skilled with bladed weapons. He is fluent in many languages, including Japanese, German, and Spanish.

Ability Limits: While Wade can heal almost any wound inflicted, and can even rejoin his severed head with his body, his super-human healing has its downsides. An unanticipated side effect was a rapid acceleration of the cancerous tumors he was suffering from at the time, causing them to quickly spread across his entire body as soon as his powers fully activated. His healing factor had super charged his cancer, resulting in massive scar tissue causing his appearance to be severely disfigured. Wade’s brain cells were affected, with dying brain cells being rejuvenated at a super accelerated rate. It is the cause of his psychosis and mental instability. In addition, his healing factor is mentally driven to a partial extent, meaning that he must be conscious of the wound to heal it.
Wade’s body is highly resistant to most drugs and toxins. For example, it is extremely difficult, though not impossible, for him to become intoxicated. He can still be affected by certain drugs such as tranquilizers, if he is exposed to a massive enough dosage.
Character: Canon
Eyes: Dark brown
Hair: Short brown hair
Body Type: Athletic, muscular build
Weight: 210 lbs
Height: 6 ft 2 in
Flaws:
Wade’s regenerative powers, coupled with his cancerous tumors, created massive scar tissue across his body, causing his appearance to be disfigured. However, curiously, the scarring on his face is less than elsewhere on his body.
Favorite:
Wade likes his body best, as it is everything to him.
GENERAL APPEARANCE---
When not in uniform, Wade looks like the rest of us. He’s a little taller than average height, around 6 foot 2 inches. He has short brown hair, which he generally doesn’t groom, but rather lets it go where it wants. His dark brown eyes seem to hide what he’s really thinking, offering only a glance inside the tumultuous thoughts racing through his head. The only thing that might set him apart from you or me is some slight scarring on his face. His scarring is more severe elsewhere on his body, but to an ordinary passerby, he would simply appear to fit the role of a young war veteran, his scars a result of some unknown battle. He almost always has a small smirk on his face, and he occasionally talks quietly to himself under his breath, but since he tends to avoid people in general, it usually goes unnoticed.
Wardrobe: Since Wade is quite proud of his body, despite the scarring, he generally wears form-fitting tanks and t-shirts. He generally wears dark jeans and black combat boots, occasionally throwing in a leather jacket.
His Deadpool uniform, on the other hand, is bright red, with black sections across his shoulders, feet, and eyes. He wears a “utility belt”, though he himself is loathe to call it that. He carries his two favorite katana across his back in an x-formation.

GENERAL PERSONALITY---
Wade is an extremely loudmouthed individual. He talks frequently, even to himself when no one is around. He sports a cocky, stuck-up attitude most of the time, often leading him to do reckless things. He doesn’t care about what others think, and often does the exact opposite of what he is told to do. He enjoys sarcasm, using it so often that many people don’t pick up on it. However, when he’s on the job, he is generally very serious, devoting himself to completing the job as efficiently as possible. While it seems like he will do anything for money, Wade actually has a very clear sense of justice. He often turns down jobs that he deems “unjust”, and will occasionally backstab the corrupt companies that hire him.
Mother: Not much is known about Wade’s parents. His mother died of cancer when he was young.
Father: Not much is known about Wade’s parents. His father was in the military, and was physically abusive, causing Wade to want to spite his father and become a delinquent. One of his teenage friends stole his father’s handgun and killed him.
Sibling(s): Wade has no known siblings.
Hometown: Unknown, somewhere in Canada
GENERAL HISTORY---
Most of Wade’s early life is unknown. His mother died of cancer while he was young, leaving him with his militant and abusive father. He became a delinquent to rebel, and as a result, one of his friends ended up killing his father. Wade then began his career as a mercenary soon after. He accepted assassination jobs only if he thought the person in question deserved death, and he made a habit of changing his identity when he failed an assignment.
As he changed his identity frequently, not much is known of his mercenary activities. After refusing to complete an assignment in Japan, he moved to the United States, and met Vanessa Carlysle. He fell in love with her and eventually married her. Soon after, he was hired by Middle Eastern interests to assassinate British government operative Althea, but instead of completing the mission, he killed everyone but Althea. Naturally, his employers sought vengeance, targeting Vanessa. She was rescued by Zoe Culloden, an employee of the interdimensional firm Landau, Luckman, Lake, and LeQuare. Culloden had been keeping Wade under surveillance as she believed he was destined to play a vital part in a potential threat to the world.
Wade later learned that he had contracted cancer, so he broke up with Vanessa, instead of forcing her to stay with a terminally ill man. He was offered a ray of hope by Department K, a special weapons development branch of the Canadian government. Wade became a test subject in their superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program. As a result, his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from Wolverine. He was part of a covert field unit, along with Sluggo, Kane, and Slayback. During one mission, Wade killed his teammate Slayback, and was sent to the Hospice, a government facility where failed operatives were treated. However, the patients actually served as experimental test subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his assistant Ajax. Ajax tore out Wade’s heart after Wade had killed his friend to put him out of his misery. However, Wade’s thirst for vengeance was so strong that it jumpstarted his healing factor, regenerating his heart. Wade then attacked Ajax, leaving him for dead, and, taking the name Deadpool, escaped from the Hospice with his fellow patients.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE---Cold steel pressed against her throat.
While any normal person would have probably started panicking at this point, she found herself oddly calm. Well, odd for most people. For her, this was normal. She supposed that her fight-or-flight instinct had been replaced by a just-fight instinct. Every time she was confronted with a situation like this, every time adrenaline coursed through her veins, that was only time she could truly think clearly, the only time she could detach herself from the world. Right now, for example, she was idly admiring the razor-sharp blade that was currently hovering a hairsbreadth from her jugular. It was obviously a very well-made sword, and a cursed sword at that. She could feel it humming in its master's hand, itching to spill her blood. But while the sword was yearning to kill, its master was not. The swordsman currently wielding the cursed sword was tense, threatening, but there was no killing intent in his emerald green eyes.
"So where is it?" the swordsman growled, pressing the tip of the sword ever so slightly against her neck.
She wondered how she had gotten into this situation…

Snow white hair streamed behind her as she sprinted down the dark alleyway. Sea-grey eyes scanned the street ahead, checking for any sign of danger. Her feet pounded against the pavement, the rhythmic beat echoing in the silent night. She glanced down once, to check the small parcel stuffed in her pack. Hikari Oshiro did not often steal from people, but her employer was paying her an ungodly amount of money for this one job, and it had been far too easy. The rowdy pirate crew had not even noticed when she had slipped over in the overcrowded bar and snatched it from right under their noses. When her employer had given her this job, she had thought she would never live to see the light of day. These pirates were notoriously lucky, or so she had thought. A small smile crept across her face, and she slowed her pace to a walk.
"That was far too easy," Hikari laughed quietly, giving one last glance over her shoulder. The job was done. She was in the clear.
