Abilities: Xian's ability is to see into the future and despite it being subjective to the choices people make she is usually quite reliable with her information- although she doesn't have anyone to tell this information to. Despite being blind if she ever has one of her 'visions' she is able to tell you in great detail everything that is important- things like clothing and hair colour are easy to describe despite never having actually seen those colours in her life, leading those who know about her power to sometimes question if she is just putting on an act about her eyesight. Xian is also slightly telekinetic although this is not something she has control over and is in fact not even aware she possesses such an ability as it only ever seems to come into play when she is sleeping.
Ability Limits: Her ability limits seriously outweigh the ability itself. She is able to see the future of strangers however more often than not they eventually end up tied to her own future which means she does in fact only see her own future most of the time- it is very rare for her to see something that has nothing to do with herself. Another problem with her power is that it often affects her when she is sleeping and because of this has an incredibly erratic sleep pattern causing her to be quite tired during the day, leading her to have naps and rests when she can take them which is easier to do when she doesn't work. As she has her visions most often during her sleep she has never been made aware of her other ability- that of telekinesis- this power usually comes into play when she is having a vision, and mostly when she is seeing something bad. When she screams from the images things about her can crack and explode, commonly vases and mirrors.

GENERAL APPEARANCE---
The one thing that everyone notices about Xian is that she tends to stare blankly ahead of her at all times and this is one of two things most people comment on- the other being her smile as next to the fact she can't see this is the best part of her appearance (not that she counts being blind a good thing). She has long black hair that despite being naturally wavy tends to be kept tied up as she finds herself rather self conscious if it is left down. Her body is nothing to write home about in her opinion as she considers herself to be of an average size and build for someone her age although anyone can tell you she has a beautiful complexion and full lips- really her face is her best asset.
Wardrobe:
Xian tends to wear a lot of black although that is usually because she likes to dress herself and its a lot easier to do so when you don't have to worry about wearing colours that are going to clash. However one of her sisters will often come over to do her hair and make up and choose outfits that are a different colour. Despite this colour blocking of black she does have a style and her clothing reflects this. She loves form fitting clothing and tends to have things tailored for her although as she is by no means rich tends to shop in high street stores that offer this service without costing the earth. Another thing to comment on Xian is that she always wears a silver chain around her neck with the wedding ring of her mother's attached to it- she hopes that one day she will get to wear this ring about her own finger instead of her neck. Also she uses a white stick when walking about outside although she hates using it as it calls attention to herself.

GENERAL PERSONALITY---
Xian despite all her setbacks is a rather strong young woman who doesn't let a little matter such as not being able to see get in the way of her life. She can be quite fiery tempered if something riles her up enough but tends to keep herself level headed and it does take quite a lot of annoy her enough to lose her cool, and along with this can be incredibly stubborn although she can be persuaded to do things she wouldn't normally do if someone knows their way about her. Not being able to see has given Xian a slightly different look at the world- she doesn't care what you look like as long as you have an amazing personality and due to this declares herself to be a pansexual- someone who can love anyone no matter who they are or what they are. She is highly trusting of those she first meets although once she has been in a room with you long enough she will either declare that she likes you or order you away not wanting to see you ever again.

GENERAL HISTORY---
Xian was born in Beijing a few years after her mother had travelled there to do a course at a university there as she wanted to major in Chinese History. Her mother had met her father and it all went from there- they married and had Xian before deciding to move back to America a few years later. At this time her mother was pregnant with her little sister although too young to actually remember she knows this only because her father told her. It was decided that the family would remain where they were and their lives were perfect up until Xian was ten. Her mother had contracted cancer and unfortuantely they could do nothing for her and it was several painful months before Alexis passed away leaving her two daughters and husband behind to fend for themselves. It was at this highly emotional time that Xian's powers began to manifest.
After the funeral of her mother Xian began to have nightmares that would have her screaming in her sleep and it took them over a year to realise that it was more than just bad dreams. One night she had a dream that her beloved father would have a heart attack leaving him in hospital with little chance of survival...however thanks to her telling her sister what she had seen they had been at home at the time of the attack and with their quick thinking they had gotten him to hospital in time to safe his life- he would have to take things slowly from now on but he was alive and that was all they cared about. Of course once her father found out about her vision he ordered her to say nothing outside of the house, telling her that the world was a dangerous place for people who could not see but even more so if they found out that she was different than other humans.
So Xian learned to live with the nightmares and the visions, pretending that the only thing wrong with her was her lack of eyesight. She went to school, had friends and a relatively normal life in fact she had even thought she was going to be engaged until that had fallen through. She doesn't mind living a lie but sometimes she wishes she could live as herself without the need to lie to the people she knows...and she would like to give herself completely to someone who wouldn't run in the opposite direction at the truth of her mutation.
