The world is changing faster then some can keep up with. With the incident at Liberty Island still leaving so many shaken things had taken a turn for the worse not only for mutants but for super humans as well. The government has heard the cry of the people concerning mutants and those who ‘aren’t quite right’ and have taken up talks on what to do concerning these different and ‘unique’ people. Those mutants and others who have caught wind of the government talks have stepped up to try and bring peaceful and informative talks to stop the government’s planning. Humans who do not wish to co exist peacefully alongside those who are different take to making simple tasks like shopping and taking children to the park difficult. Human sympathizers do their part to help protect those who are persecuted but it doesn’t always work leaving many wishing to hide. Those who don’t hide often take a violent approach at how they are treated reinforcing the fears the human race have.
Through all of this S.H.I.E.L.D keeps their vigil on everything, and continue to work on projects that could help or hinder, no one will know which side they have taken until they reveal things. While superhero teams and lone heroes deal with the growing threat from the government the villains take it upon themselves to simply make life worse for everyone. The X-men are on guard after Magneto's break out of his plastic prison, Spider Man still has the Green Goblin to contend with as he was not killed in their last confrontation, The Fantastic Four have Dr, Doom breathing down their necks wishing to destroy them. The Avengers have saved the planet from alien invasion and stopped Loki, Thor has returned to Asgard with his brother, though he will return. The other heroes deal with villains deciding to cause chaos and keep them all busy. Will you resist and fight back or will you become a pawn in the governments game of keeping the peace? The choice is yours.
