LAND OF ENCHANTMENTS RPG
We all know what goes bump in the night, we all have those wild fantasy ideas and the truth is, once it's there it's there. Things that are out of the ordinary seem to make people turn there heads in awe of what to expect next... However this site is not about what is hidden, it is about what it out in the open. This story takes place in the 1860's. An event that effected many parts of the world. This event also wrippled it's way to New Hampshire.. In the 1860's the government came up with a new idea, an idea that would rule over all other ideas, and in time create a world of utter chaos. The United States began to create the Jim Crow laws. These laws were not to be questioned.. They were put in place to create a new world, a new era. Racial discrimination was becoming accepted, it had gone so far as to show that it was the means of life.
While this was going on not only was the world aware and severly affected by the consequences of the new laws put in place. another big battle was taking place in the cradle of the northeast, a battle that started with another type of government. This government began to form in the 1800's, only fifty years before the Crow laws began. This new government had heard of the Segregation in the United States and as the first parents of New Hampshire, decided to take things into their own hands. Some parents decided to take their kids away from all this bad influence and go into hiding in their village, but another group of parents, the "rebel children" as they were called in school by teachers and classmates decided to challenge the government of New Hampshire. One day during the early hours of the night, the people of the government were working late and the parents who had not gotten their way in school attacked. They massively murdered the government, slaughtering each and every person who questioned them. They were insane and they didn't take no for an answer. If they were not allowed to make their own laws, why listen to laws of others?. They thought.
As the Crow laws began the parents made themself comfortable in the new government office that they stold. By the time the 1850's - 1860's hit the parents were becoming grandparents, and had created a set of laws for the town. They became so good at tricking the people of New Hampshire that nobody began to question them.. Only the parents new the truth, that they had killed innocent people. Having children and grandchildren, the parents successfully created a curse on the town of New Hampshire, with new laws. Bullying anyone who dared to question them.
After the death of the group of rebel parents, the town frooze. No time moved forward or backwards but it did stay in the 1860's. The people of the town who were the same age as the rebel parents when they lost their minds, age 18, became immortal. While the children of the generation that followed the "rebel parents" did age, and still control the government. Now all the laws put in place seem normal but are they?, is it right to snatch children from one home and place them in another?, or give them parents who are criminals?...
So really is it right not to question things?, let your character decide where they stand in this world, and if they will figure out their life is controlled by a false government.. A group of teenage boys to be exact.
